I need to get a capture card and a mic this summer. I’ve always wanted to try doing let’s plays, scripted gaming videos ( in the style of Antdudes) or a NFL focused channel.
It might not be for me, since I’m pretty introverted, but I want to at least try it.

@blindsquarel here's a great Reddit post about mics for new YouTubers (Read The Comments). For a capture card, I'd "recommend" buying a cheap one on Amazon.

So, anyone else here? I got up way too early (5:30AM) to finish watching an anime and now I have nothing to do.

@blindsquarel Funny you say that, I just got a mic to do just the same thing. it's a Logitech Blue Yeti and the quality's been fantastic so far. I used to record on my phone, and I once made a 35 minute video essay through dozens of takes. IIRC it costs under $150 US, so if that's the range you want you're in luck.

What I could recommend though with keeping my heart pure is Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack on switch, as long as you like rhythm games

@ComfyAko Eh, I don't care about a bit of fanservice if it also has lots of references. I haven't really played any rhythm games before.

@TeaCatherine yeah I just don't want want to show people any not 100% pure things cause you never know who will follow your recommendation. I always liked Neptunia and forgot about the gaudy things in the series for a moment (Im rather immune to fanservice etc.) Felt not pure and deleted the original post about it tho.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I suppose it would mean I watched a ton of American comedy at some point and hated it so much I repressed it as otherwise it would mean I had psychic powers. Although, we could both be figments of someone else's imagination.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Yeah, but to be honest I've barely experienced life here in the UK and mostly I just consume works of fiction, many of which are set in the US.

@TeaCatherine Yeah it's just my... weirdness. Some things get to me even though I don't want them to. "I try to act nonchalant but deep inside I'm chalant as f." - someone from the internet
