Dang it @Eel, just when I think, I think, I forget, I see there face, yet again, truly, a horror, and it’s truly fitting, for a spooky month.

These oil "protests" are getting a little much. Yes actions speak louder than words, but the world's not going to stop just because you painted a building yellow or threw soup on a priceless work of art. In a way they've done what they wanted, get widespread attention on major news places and get heard. They're getting heard just not in the way they probably want.

Who knows how this will all end, but it doesn't seem like it will be soon.

@Sunsy Yep. I've actually heard of the DKL games since I was much younger in the 90s, but we just never had them. We just had the DKC games for our SNES. That reminds me. I had a few of those Game Boy bubble bath toys when I was a kid, and I remember one of them had artwork from the first DKL game. I think they were about the size of the original Game Boy, or just a tad larger.

That's cool. I'm not too into candy myself, but I do like having the occasional sweet treat like cookies and brownies.

Yep, Splatoon's online works really well, too. That's the other game I like playing online. I wanna try to at least finish Splatoon 2's story mode before getting Splatoon 3 this coming Christmas.

You and me both, it's been so long since I've played Animal Crossing since I've been playing other games as well. Charlise, Bubbles, Tia, and the others must really miss me!

That's awesome, sounds a lot like the Mario collection I've been building over the years. Games, tees, figurines, amiibos, collectables, and more. I do have a little bit of everything I like, but my collection mainly consists of my boy Mario!

@Kermit1 Apologies for the late reply, but I'm so glad you're OK. Glad they caught that guy, too. That must have been really, really scary when that first happened.

@MarioLover92 Ok, yeah I actually had Donkey Kong Land, and my brother had Donkey Kong Land 3. We never had 2. Mostly rented the Donkey Kong Country games. Whoa, not Donkey Kong, but I had something like that with Sonic at one point. It was also a soap bottle, lol. You had to press buttons to get rings onto "points," and it had Sonic Adventure renders as the "screenshot."

I'm the same, I don't eat candy that often. If I have a few fun sized pieces in a month, that I would consider to be a lot since I don't eat it often. I like saving the sweet snack for something good, like a cookie or a cupcake, or muffin, or cake.

Cool, I don't think I ever beat any of the single player modes in the Splatoon games. I've played them on both Wii U and Switch, but ended up playing more online. I'm glad they do exist, they were both fun from what I played. Enjoy Splatoon when you get it on Christmas.

Speaking of cookies, Cookie keeps getting surprised whenever I show up in Animal Crossing, lol. Usually Cookie is the first to notice I've been away from the game.

Cool. That reminds me, I have three Sonic amiibos. I got three after I found out I could only have one save on it, so I decided to get two more for different progress in Smash for them. That is cool, things I have the most of consist of Sonic, Trolls, and My Little Pony. Especially the latter, since I usually got MLP stuff as gifts on special occasion. I do have other stuff with characters I like from other animated movies, cartoons, and games. I have an Isabelle plush, if you remember from awhile back.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

If you had a sliver go all the way through your finger would you go to the ER?

@blindsquarel If my finger started feeling off, ya.

@Eel @Kermit1
It’s my dad who has the sliver. His reasoning for not going is he doesn’t want to get a tetanus shot.

He doesn’t like going to the doctor or anything like that very much. Luckily my mom gets home in a few minutes and she will probably force him to go.

Ah, the MRI. Nothing like laying in a loud tube for twenty minutes wondering what the heck is messed up in you. What happened in your case?( if you are comfortable sharing.)

@blindsquarel I don't even know what I have yet, before the MRI I had a colonoscopy (ya the prep was fun, I hate Fanta now lol but at least a Nintendo Direct happened on that day of the prep).

I hope it's not cancer since that does run sorta close in my family.

Replies only for the most part lol. I'm a bit too lazy/bleh to fully read through the five pages I've missed. I wasn't kidding when I said this past weekend would be busy. To top it off, I'm now mildly ill. Nothing that some rest won't take care of however.

@MarioLover92 I actually hadn't heard about the Mario Edition GBC, though I'm not surprised there was one lol. 3DS VC games count in my humble opinion, plus they're cheaper to get a hold of. I think I'm mostly done with Game Boy purchases, though I might take a chance with a couple of older classics, like Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (though I can easily play other forms of this) and Mole Mania just to try them out. As for Wii Sports, that one stayed at my folks' place, so I haven't played it in awhile either. I wonder if they'll finally let me run off with all the Wii stuff....

@Sunsy Oof, fixed the typo in my last post way too late. WANING, not WAKING. XD Snow is especially amazing after a fresh snowfall when it's stuck to trees, mailboxes, plants, etc. Unspoiled by anything including melting, traffic, etc. And the silence while it's falling and there isn't hardly any traffic...beautiful. Maybe some of that is the introvert talking though.

@Kermit1 I did do some skimming and am glad to see you're safe. Glad the police caught the nutter.

I edited my pfp a wee bit, I changed how much yellow was in the eye and kept a little red from the orginal photo, idk if it looks better or worse then the last one, so I may go back and fourth.

I have like five different edits of these.

@blindsquarel I hope so too. But I don't think it will be too bad (whatever it is).
