As much as I like books, sometimes new book covers definitely need a wipe down. Something with the manufacturing process or how they're handled, I think. Otherwise I keep liquids far away from them lol. With how much I like electronics, people are surprised I don't really own any eBooks. However, I much prefer the feel of real books and spend more than enough time on screens already anyway lol.

@MarioLover92 I'm a planner at heart when it comes to...almost everything, but I'm trying to be a little more laid back when it comes to that thing sometimes. Some people like making decisions last second, or on the fly, so I'm trying to mesh better with personalities like that lol. XC3 is definitely a good Christmas list option, especially since winter is a great time of year to play a long game. I still need to do some cleanup on the 3DS and Wii U eShops as well; I have most of my wanted 3DS purchases squared away barring a couple of games, but I need to make more Wii U progress....As for Wario Land II, I'm glad you're enjoying it! It's my favorite Wario Land title.

@Sunsy Oh it’s ok, I got what you were saying, and I agree, I don’t know why a dev not making a demo means there hiding something, when they could easily cut out whatever they wanted, demo versions of game exist for a reason.

A warning would be a good idea. Didn't think of that, I'd assume parental controls would block out any mature rated games if such a thing happened. I wouldn't know since I never use the parental controls as my Switch is a one person system as I'm the only one who uses it. Xybots was cool, it was like a third person 3D game, a very early one too from what I remember.

Thanks! It's a scene from Trolls World Tour where Poppy is giving another character gumdrops, thought the candy might be fitting for Halloween. I think I have it on DVD, last time I watched it was on Disney+. I was chatting with @Tyranexx about Pinocchio, and it brought up classic Disney.

Yeah, I usually wipe down the book covers, usually, I keep liquid far away from them. I never bought an e-book, I figure having real books are better, if the power goes out, I can still read them, while an eBook reader or a tablet will need charging once that battery dies. That reminds me, once my family had no power for a week due to a hurricane, and I resorted to using a battery powered GBA with Sonic Advance 3.

@Snatcher I also agree. Especially when demos are there to try a game before buying it too.

So jealous about you all complaining about the cold. It still gets up to 105 where I am, and it's only gonna get tolerable (93-2) in a month's time. God this weather blows.

I've lost power but still have wifi for the next 3 hours.

@Kermit1 Whoa, stay safe. Hurricanes suck, had a major one 10 years ago, and had no power for a week. I remember using a GBA that used AA batteries when there was no power due to having no way to charge my DS and 3DS.

Hope you have a battery powered radio, useful for information.

@NeonPizza Shake It! probably takes a close second place in my book, followed by Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, then 4, then 3 in dead last. All range from all right to awesome though. I agree with your assessments regarding 4 and especially 3; I wasn't too fond of the night/day system in the latter. I think the reason I like II and Shake It! so much is because they brought back Syrup, one of my favorite obscure Nintendo villains. The Wii title is definitely the cleaner of the two, but i like the level designs in II more for some reason. XD

@Sunsy I really like his YouTube channel. I don't watch everything - depends what's featured - but the guy is definitely talented! Some pretty humorous commentary too. "Stir until homogeneous...."

I've dabbled in ebooks a little via free samples through the Kindle app, but at the end of the day I prefer actual books. As you mentioned, they don't require a battery to charge...unless you're forced to read in the dark, and there are ways to manage lol. I've been through power outages, mostly related to snow or severe storms, never hurricanes though. I live far enough inland that we only ever deal with remnant lows. They can bring a ton of rain though.

@Kermit1 you might not have internet right now, and perhaps the danger already passed by now; but as tempting as it is to go out and check on stuff, please do remain inside at all times during a hurricane.

Yeah, I think the news said there are possibly 500,000 without power in Nova Scotia. I feel for @Kermit1. We've had storms hit my area that have left hundreds of thousands without power. Just snapped trees and big limbs on lines all over the place. It's crazy. When there's that much widespread tree damage, it can take a week or more to get power back for a good bit of those people.

Any other year, that Fiona hurricane would have gone to US first, before remnants move onto Nova Scotia. News also said that hurricane/tropical storm was the lowest Bar pressure for a storm every recorded for that region. I think I heard that right.

It's because of mass power outages from storms that I bought a 26,000 mah powerbank/battery.

@Tyranexx That's good to hear. I just have to get back to Xenoblade once again, since I've been playing other games... again! There's especially some Game Boy games I wanna get and try out, I've been curious about the Donkey Kong Land games. I still have that "Wii U and 3DS eShop closing" thread bookmarked, so that'll make things easier to pick out what I wanna get. I heard Pocket Card Jockey is really good, too. Thanks! So far, I think I like the first Wario Land the best, but WL2's pretty good as well.

Yeah I can't blame you, I never use parental controls either. I'm the only one who uses my Switch as well, plus my mom has her own for playing Animal Crossing. I just looked at a video for Xybots, it does look cool, and quite impressive for its time. Kinda surprised I didn't play this one, lol. It kinda reminds me of another game I've played, which was Berzerk. That one arcade game where you're going around shooting robots in a sort of maze, it was pretty fun.

Yes indeed, and I do like F-Zero as well. I did play F-Zero X for a bit recently, too. It's not an easy game in the slightest, but then again, it is F-Zero we're talking about, lol. The first one on the SNES is mega tough on higher difficulties, as well.

Ah that does sounds sweet, I bet those gumdrops taste good, lol! That's cool. It's been so long since I've seen Pinocchio, though I still have my childhood VHS somewhere.

I'm guessing @Kermit1 is still without power due to falling/snapping trees, limbs, and powerlines coming down everywhere, which also blocks roads for trucks trying to fix power lines & restore power.

When this happened in my area 2-3 years ago, the power company had an online map illustrating location & streets and # of homes without power. It was quite a gloomy map. And progress was really slow. We were without power for 4-5 days, and the whole time it was quite possible we could have been without power for over a week. So, there's a lot of not-knowing when it's actually going to be fixed, which sucks.

3. If you keep playing DDR songs all day long, anywhere, anytime, even in toilet.

13. If you keep playing DDR Arcade until exhausted then you realized you still have some credits to play, you keep playing DDR again and again even your legs are already broken.
14. If you have a nightmare of losing the DDR Arcade machine.
15. If you always wear suitable outfits for playing DDR regardless of any situation as long it will be fit for playing DDR.
16. If you proud to show off your bruised from playing DDR to your friends, to your family even to your cow.
17. If you started to create very complicated movements from using your hands to smash your head that you think it will be look cool, then you applied those tricks while playing DDR Arcade.
18. If your photo get published by Arcade owner as "DDR Player of the year".
19. If you see the DDR machines, even by a quick sight you can tell the year production including the serial numbers.
