@Anti-Matter I'm not picky due to narrowing my gaming tastes; quite the opposite lol. I've actually expanded my gaming horizons over time and have found I like different franchises and genres, not to mention I have a much better idea of what I dislike as well (sports games, shmups, most racing outside of Mario Kart, etc.). I've had to become pickier due to just not having the time to play everything I absolutely want to, though I usually have the funding. It's the complete opposite of when I was a kid, when I had plenty of time and not a lot of money. I didn't have much of an allowance and had to rely on birthday and Christmas money mostly.
@Fizza NGL, that found footage promotion for the Ultra Beasts was pretty cool. I nearly forgot about the event until someone reminded me, but I did manage to catch the other UBs they released; Nihilego was available before this past weekend.
@TheJGG With those F1 tickets - and likely other events - that was mostly a special case. Some hotels/rooms can be quite cheap to get, depending on when you go and where you stay. That's mostly to entice people to the casinos, shows, etc. so that they spend more money in them. Heck, there's a public transit monorail system that links a lot of the bigger complexes, and it forces you to walk through all the casino areas of each building to get to the street. Coincidence? I think not. But a 24 hour pass was cheaper than taking taxis everywhere. We did hoof it at some points, but it can be a lot of walking. Buying about anything on the Strip is quite expensive. The Old Strip isn't as bad, but Las Vegas in general isn't a cheap city. And believe me, there are plenty of street vendors wearing crazy outfits and hawking merchandise trying to make a cheap buck.
Unfortunately, I was taking some college classes and working part-time the summer my family went to the Grand Canyon and to see a few other sights. I could've gotten off work, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to make up the class hours. If you do come back to the US to see the Grand Canyon, I've also heard Bryce Canyon is neat too. And if you can manage it and like learning about ancient settlements, Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado is pretty cool too.
Edit: I forgot to say that we did watch a couple of shows in Vegas. By far my favorite was a Cirque du Soleil performance my brother and I watched (My sister and bro-in-law went to a Magic Mike show. Ugh....). Those acrobats are seriously talented.
@Tyranexx
I understand.
There are some games I bought with short hype when I got the game but suddenly lost the hype after several days later, probably the genre of the games I played not really engaging so I got distracted easily by another games with different interesting ideas.
Today I will order some rare Gamecube games with cheaper price from my local online shopping website and the seller was from here my hometown.
Wish me luck so I can bring home the rare Gamecube games I have been waiting for. 🤞🍀
@Kermit1
(Looking at integral Math problem)
I think that was a calculus formula to find an area of sinus function.
Btw, what degree you will pursue for university ?
Does anybody feel overwhelmed with everything going on in the world and also that because of what you believe other people think your wrong and you feel small because if you speak you will be "thrown stones at" for even opening your mouth.
@Kermit1
I don't know. Things are becoming so bad here in Europe (Ukranian war, energy crisis, heat waves, draughts, climate crisis in general,...) that those who say everything's fine are the ones being spat at.
@Kermit1@Mioaionios we live a screwed world that is for sure. Politics has been crazy, climate change is better no even mention... And culturally instead of getting a wider way of thinking, it is getting narrower everyday it passes and everything you say can bite you in the arse and get "canceled"
Can we stop calling climate change "climate change" please? Dick Cheney invented the term with focus groups so people would feel better about it than calling it global warming which has worked as it delayed it becoming a more popular topic of discussion for 20ish years. Which is also odd since another politician Thatcher invented the term global warming to promote her stance against the coal mine strikes. I prefer the term torching the whole fing planet on fire myself.
Of course such spin works the other way round with zeitgeist silliness promoting non-political fluff to replace the old frenzies of the red scare, satanic panic and witch hunts.
@Rambler Yep it was just like the "do you think I'm funny” scene where I shout at my dates with incredible tension to prove my alpha male testosteroneness only to tell them it was a joke. Oh wait, you meant when they make up a table and treat them like fancy guests.
@Rambler
At the end of the day the only thing we can do is vote for those parties you think will try to take action and do your best to decrease your own ecological footprint.
I've reduced my meat consumption to 2 meals a week, take public transport as much as possible, do groceries on foot, reduce heating in winter (18°C), only keep the lights on in the room I'm currently in, don't order online unless there's absolutely no other way,...
There's much we can do but it takes some dedication.
@Mioaionios@Balta666@Rambler Yesterday I did something I never do and looked at the news, It's all depressing, so many lies, half truths, headless chickens (so to speak, not in a mean way). It all felt overwhelming to me and for the first time I felt sick looking at what's going on.
@Anti-Matter Yes there always are. Have you seen this video, It made me want to play DDR lol.
@Jump We all know the correct term, It's raining men.
@Kermit1
Thanks for the video. 😃
I have already did for DDR MAX 2 Arcade by asking permission from the Arcade owner to input the password code into the machine since the machine CMOS battery was dead so it couldn't memorize the input codes once the machine turned off.
OMG...!!!
I have never knew there was Maniac Mode by convoluted button configuration for DDR Disney Rave PS1 Japan. 🤯🤯🤯
NEAT!!!
Twilight Zone in Maniac stepchart!
I have never seen that stepchart before even 20 years ago.
