Oh, have you watched the second Pokemon trailer?
What do you think about Pokemon Scarlet / Violet ?

I should probably grab Pokemon Legends: Arceus before I grab Scarlet/Violet. I'm fine with waiting a bit on the latter, though the latest trailer certainly has intrigued me. I just finished Brilliant Diamond not long ago, and Shield not too long before that, so I think an extended Poké break is in order.

...Ignoring my almost daily Pokemon Go sessions.

@tekoii I've only played the first game out of the X series. I liked it overall, though I prefer games where the difficulty ramps UP as you play lol. I think the Metroid series has a good balance in that regard as the player picks up upgrades. I'd LOVE a Mega Man Battle Network collection, and Star Force wouldn't be bad either. I still love the Battle systems in those titles.

Today I came back to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Wedding season's back and this time, I wanna go for the wedding clothes! Perhaps I could get more stuff that I haven't gotten yet as I do more of those wedding shoots. I've also been reworking one of my rooms, and I wanna do more of Happy Home Paradise, as well. In other news, there's been a nasty thunderstorm brewing over my area. I even caught my internet not working for a brief moment.

@reporterdavid That is true. I don't claim to be a pro at everything I do, that's for sure! lol

@Tyranexx Ah yeah I forgot about stingrays. I have seen them in an aquarium many years back. Yeah, I didn't get stung by bumblebees either, as far as I can remember anyway - just wasps.

Yeah absolutely, and I also feel that it's good to be observant while you're drawing, at least with still life. I'm no expert at drawing, that's for sure - I just try to apply what I've learned and do the best I can while making the project at hand. That's cool to hear. That magnifying class sounds like it would help a lot! I can really struggle with drawing anything that's small.

@tekoii I did watch some videos on how to do advanced drifting techniques. It's definitely taking me a while to learn, but I kinda toyed around with them while playing. I've done brake drifting in that super sharp turn in Music Park, and that helped a ton. I also found myself hopping to readjust myself after doing a mini turbo, that has also helped me quite a bit.

@TheJGG Yeah that's all true. It's been a very long time since I drove in a go-kart, I was like 12 or 13, so I don't recall too much about it, but it definitely felt different from Mario Kart that's for sure. Jeez, that sounds rough, hopefully you were all right in the end.

@Sunsy Nice new profile pic - definitely looks familiar except there's a purple background now! I'm pretty much like that with my old Nintendo games these days, playing them on VC and NSO.

Yeah...the RNG I looked up wasn't exactly kind, lol. It's always been my favorite version of the game too, that's what I grew up with and unlike the NES version, it actually saves your progress!

@Anti-Matter Afraid I haven't as I didn't see the new trailer, nor know one even came out. For most of the part it was a quiet day, after chores this morning, it was quiet to the point I almost fell asleep. Sorry I don't have an opinion on Scarlet and Violet yet, nor knew anything new came out.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, before it had a white background and used the Trolls 1 version (as shown on the shirt, the difference is Poppy's outfit). I got this version by finding via this book cover. Just liked the way the background looked. Despite being a kids book, I still like reading it from time to time.

Yeah, it goes back to having classics on modern consoles and PCs, it's just the convenience factor.

Yeah, I would have been fine with 5 or 6. Always loved the first part of World 5, and 5-3 is one of my favorite levels in the game. World 6 because I'm a sucker for winter and snow levels. Yeah, I never played the NES version at the time until I went to mom's friend's house. I was surprised how bright the blue was compared to the SNES version. I grew up with the copy of Super Mario All-Stars I got one Christmas.

I hear you on the save, I have the orignal NES version on Wii, Wii U and 3DS, I can't imagine how people played this without saving. I had a friend who once left on his NES all day just to keep progress.

I can tell you Youtubers Life 1 & 2 are completely different games.
The major different I found:

Youtubers Life 1 = you can choose what kind of Youtubers are you (gamer / musician / chef / etc) and you will given different tasks depend on which Youtubers you are. You can have some part time jobs to get some money.

Youtubers Life 2 = you play as gamer Youtubers, no option to become other kind of Youtubers and you will be busy with uploading photos to Instagram, uploading photos to your YouTube channel, doing quests from peoples to get money, attending Play-Con event, etc.
Every tasks given just only about gaming world. There is no part time job as it has been replaced with subquest.

@Sunsy Oh that's cool to hear you like reading that book. No worries, I don't judge! That purple background looks like it fits Poppy really well.

World 5's probably the most unique world in SMB3, since it literally has two maps connected by that tower level. World 6 is definitely a cool one - no pun intended - I do like winter levels, as well. I think my favorite one is World 4, where everything's all massive, and it has my favorite world map music in the game. Nice - that was one of the games my dad had for his SNES. So it's no wonder we're both nostalgic for SMAS!

Yeah absolutely...SMB3 especially needed a save feature, because of how many levels the game has. Assuming that you're not aware of where you'd find the warp whistles, it would've taken a really long time to beat in one sitting. Ah really, I can't blame your friend for leaving his NES on. That's what I probably would have done if I was around during the 80s! Thank goodness that the SNES had way more games that saved your progress.

@reporterdavid Yeah looks like they do! I went ahead and looked it up, and it seems like you'll need to do 7 photo shoots to be able to have everything in the wedding catalog. I just did my second photo shoot today.

About Wedding photoshoot, you can make more interesting wedding party photoshoot if you able to add more folks from your villagers for the photoshoots. Just scan your amiibo card / figurines to summon them.

Last two years ago I made a "scandalous" wedding party photoshoot which the guests (my villagers and special villagers) started to leave the party for having diarrhoea after somebody put a Dulcolax in wedding cake and Cyrus had argument with Reese and accused Reese put Dulcolax in their wedding cake. 😁😆

@Anti-Matter I don't have any Animal Crossing amiibos, so I just do the regular photo shoots.

Wow, that State of Play was VERY good. I'm very much a PS lurker (don't have any of the systems yet I still keep up with the news) but jesus the stuff they showed looks excellent. I'm personally most excited for RE4 Remake (haven't played a single game in the series but still adore it wholeheartedly).
