@ogo79 If you mean avoiding some of the comment sections on the main site, that's a very good practice. Many of the thornier ones aren't worth my time and energy.
@Tasuki One of the other players runs a different game with some of his coworkers and owns a few books as well, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything included. I don't own any books of my own yet and mostly get by with the internet for now, though I hope to pick up a Player's Handbook soon. I find it easier to draw up characters using printed pages. I briefly borrowed it to create a Drow Druid for a one-shot New Years Eve campaign.
I'm really enjoying playing my ranger, it was a pre-made character the DM generated for me since I joined mid-campaign, but I've sort of made her my own lol. I'll have to research hordebreaker, that sounds like a fun subclass too.
Ah, so Kender wasn't an autocorrect troll. XD I mostly use 5e Tools for online references and couldn't find the race listed there, though that makes sense if it's still in the beta phase. They sound a little like the children from changeling concepts. :thinking_face: I'll have to research them as well.
@Sunsy Hands give me some trouble, but I have an even harder time with human faces. To compensate, I would hide them in some way using hair, something in the environment, etc. There's usually a way around a drawing struggle, but that brings us back to my finite patience.
@tekoii I'll take your word on Tales of Vesperia! The Switch is a good platform to jump into almost anything at this point, even arguably a Layton game (which I haven't played yet TBH). XCX certainly deserves to be experienced by more people. In addition, its ending opened it up for some sequel material IMO. I hope the series continues to sell well so that Monolith might consider more XCX titles!
@MarioLover92 If there's something XC2 isn't, it's a stealth game. XD I tried sneaking around enemies more than once, though more often than not I would try to fight them. There's a reason Territorial Rotbart is a meme....
Sadly, the largest thing I've unintentionally hit so far was a fox a few years ago. ~$750 worth of damage to my front bumper and grille, thankfully no undercarriage issues. Insurance determined it an act of God and fielded everything. /RelievedSigh It was really quick; I only knew what it was by the color. Wasps and stinging insects are unfortunately quite common here, though I'm way too far inland for jellyfish. I try to respect the space of things with stinger too - I've gotten fairly close to a hive to watch the bees come and go (they ignore you if you aren't too close and stay still/calm) - but wasps can definitely be nasty. I've had a few run-ins with them.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Tyranexx I have a few hard copies of books, mainly the PHB, DMG, MM and Xanathar's, but since those are in storage for the time being, I have bought a few books digitally on D&D Beyond. I prefer the old fashion pen and paper way to play but I have to admit digitally makes it so much easier DM wise. My players for the most part are using pen and paper but I have two players that are doing everything digitally but that's cause they are in a different State from the rest of us.

@Kermit1
Saw you tagged a YouTube video about something controversial in kids games during early 2000's era, it reminded me for similar case on other games I have experienced.
@Fizza ah, smort. So, not great for sharing my own screenshots unless I want to upload them to imgur or something. Ahhhhh well.
WAIT NO I CAN TWEET THEM
here are my piggy friends:
As far as emoji are concerned, I use them on PC by pressing (Windows key + ; ) which brings up a little emoji keyboard. Learn the names of some of your favourites — 😅 is "grinning face with sweat" and 🥺 is "pleading face", for example — and you can just type in their names to search for 'em!
@KateGray I am still not seeing the image. Why not share the whole Twitter post?
Also advice from me. Use www.imgbb.com It is excellent for image sharing and you get the sharing codes right from the site. Do not use imgur because images from there get corrupted easily.
@KateGray This is my happy place.
With how many I've been getting, a genuine side goal of mine in PLA is to try and get an Alpha shiny Swinub at some point. I somehow managed to find an Alpha shiny Piloswine so maybe it isn't too outlandish of an idea (especially with the rate I've been finding them at).
Speaking of shinies and round individuals however, I managed to find 2 shiny Sentrets there about an hour ago in Brilliant Diamond!
I've always liked Sentret as a Pokemon (even if he was robbed going into 3D seriously why doesn't he BOUNCE) and it's shiny is great as well. I evolved one of them into Furret and you probably know where this is going. CUE THE MUSIC!

Seeing Rival Turf appear on Switch Online amuses me, yet makes me happy. Grabbed it on Wii U a few weeks back, and this makes me happy because now I can co-op it with my friend.
@Tyranexx I see. For me, it's sometimes hands. I remember wanting to draw Poppy from Trolls holding a tray of cupcakes, but could never get the thumbs looking right, and ultimately just decided to draw her holding a cupcake in each hand. I tend to draw more like cartoons than realistic stuff. Really not good at realistic looking styles.
@TheJGG Doing well myself. Haven't been up to too much. Enjoy the movie. I haven't seen the new Top Gun, this past week I did watch Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time, as well as the live action Lady and the Tramp, and Trolls again. Thing is, I'm not into Marvel or superheroes, but I liked Guardians of the Galaxy.

@Sunsy I'm intrigued by it for sure since I played The Peace Keepers a while back during my beat-em-up phase following playing Streets of Rage 2 for the first time and overall enjoyed it quite a bit. If there's one thing I don't like about it though on a surface level is the box art. Like, what the hell is this?!
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@Fizza Hope you enjoy it when you play it. I also really like the South of the Border's level music, really a good 16-bit tune. Ah, the old days of when weird-looking box art and alternative art styles were a thing. Old box arts like that can be a weird and interesting thing to look at. Just look at Mega Man 1's NES box.
@reporterdavid Yeah, that's the thing with character sports stuff for me. I'm not into sports, yet I love playing stuff like Sega Superstars Tennis.

@reporterdavid
I would rather pick Kao the Kangaroo than Mario Striker.
I never like soccer, zero interest with that sport but I really have strong interest with Boxing & Kickboxing so Kao the Kangaroo was my instant must buy game. 🥰
I will print A3 poster of Kao the Kangaroo in my bedroom since I can design by myself.
@Sunsy Guardians struck me as a 80s inspired sci-fi flick, same with Guardians 2, naturally because of the setting, and the mixtapes, and the music choice. It’s definitely one of the more unique MCU entries being set in space and all. With some squinting you could probably tell who the director is. The MCU’s very tone/visually consistent, and really washes away any director influences.
Maybe that’s what Scorsese meant when he said the MCU’s not real cinema. Would you say you agree with that?
Went to my first major gathering yesterday since the pandemic started. The County Fair. Keep in mind that my state only loosen COVID restrictions a few months ago, masks are no longer maditiory nor are proof of vaccination. Still you can tell that this event was recently put together just to have something since the restrictions were lifted. Alot of my favorite food vendors went there and there weren't too many exhibits and such. Still it was a nice time and nice to see things get pack to pre pandemic levels.
I will.say though that more then likely due to the recent mass shootings we have had in the past week there was alot of police and security present but not to may people, although to be fair (no pun intended) this was the first day of the fair and it was overcast and during a weekday so that may have had something to do with it.
But as I said the food was great and seeing the animal exhibits was great too. Can't wait for the State Fair in a few months.

@TheJGG Don't know if I can agree with that or not, mostly because I just tend to watch and enjoy movies. Sorry if I disappoint by not having an answer. That is why I liked Guardians, it felt like the kind of sci-fi space movie I would watch. Though I haven't seen many Marvel movies because I'm not into superhero stuff. Though I do remember watching the Spider-Man trilogy, and I did enjoy them.
