@Tyranexx Ah ok I haven't bought that book yet. The next book I am looking at getting is Tasha's but Fizban's is on my list.

The only Ranger subclass I played was the hordebreaker which is a Ranger build like Legolas from Lord of the Rings. But I only played it for a few sessions before the group fell apart and then COVID hit. It was a fun class and I enjoyed it alot just a shame that the group is no more.

As for the Kender it's a race specifically from Dragonlance, the most famous being Tasslehoff Burrfoot. They are similar to halflings but are more childlike. Right now the race along with the setting is in beta but you can find it on homebrew sites.

@Anti-Matter My collection is semi-huge, you got a great collection! I see 4 in your collection that I have in mine.

@Tyranexx I know that feeling. I was once drawing one of my favorite character holding something, and it just didn't look like the way I imagined it. So ended up trying something different and it worked, even if the original idea didn't work. For me, it doesn't happen often, when it does it can get frustrating.

@Anti-Matter @Kermit1 Nice seeing some Skylanders. Was playing SuperChargers awhile back, which happens to be my favorite of the few Skylanders games I've played. Always loved playing as Splat.

@Zuljaras Have fun! Thanks for reminding me, I need to get the House of the Dead remake. Love those games, have the second on Dreamcast, and 2 & 3 Return on Wii. Played the first in an arcade.

I feel like an absolute genius right now.

For context, I was playing Kirby 64 about half an hour ago and made it to the 3rd level of Neo Star (the one with all the fog and rocks and such) and was having a blast using the Drill (Needle+Stone). However, I got to a section where there was a Shard underneath an orange block. I assumed that I would need regular Stone for that but, out of pure curiosity, I hit down while in the air with the Drill to see what would happen. Colour me shocked when it drilled straight down through the block and I was able to get the Shard. Keep in mind that this is the first time I've ever played through Kirby 64 EVER and had no idea what each level would be like beforehand.

In short: just another reason why 64 is slowly becoming my new favourite Kirby game (and that's coming from someone who adores the other games I've played so far!).

I miss the noon gun. I miss NS.......alas, my career necessitated elsewhere and Quebec is nice but the Ottawa Valley climate does not agree with me overall......perhaps one day I will return to the land of salty fog and scallops. <3

@cordova94 oh, well, in that case.... I am a very big fan of stingrays! I like the touch tanks you get in aquariums (and it's wild that there isn't one here). They're so soft and flat 🥺♥

@KateGray Whilst you're here, there's a question I've been dying to ask you: what's your favourite Pokemon/regional variant? Sorry if it's a really basic question, I'm just genuinely curious is all. I know you're a big fan of Rowlet from your Legends Arceus articles and, to be fair, that's very good taste in starters (even if Cyndaquil is cough cough objectively the best out of the PLA trio cough cough but that's besides the point).

My favourites would probably be Seismitoad, Torterra, Porygon-Z, Tyrantrum and Basculegion to narrow it down a bit.

I actually have a canvas printed with all my favourite Pokémon, plus what "type" they are — not Pokémon type, but shape type. They're all classified by Orb / Bee / Slime. The list includes:

Snom (Slime)
Rowlet (Orb)
Swinub (Slime)
Mareep (Orb)
Swablu (Orb)
Vileplume (Orb-like)

I also have a lot of Pikachu merch, but that's largely because it's the most common Pokémon in merch, and so it's easy to get. Also, a massive Swablu plush Also Cyndaquil is cute. But Chikorita was my chosen starter for that generation!

Weirdly I don't consider myself much of a Pokémon fan, despite having played almost all the games and owning a LOT of Pokémon stuff!

@KateGray Good list! I understand the general appeal of circular objects, there's something extremely relaxing about seeing something so goddamn round. It's honestly one of the reasons I vastly prefer Hisuian Voltorb to regular Voltorb: it retains the perfect roundness of the original whilst having a much more likable personality. He's just a happy little dude.

Seeing Swinub there as well reminded me of how I've literally been drowning in shiny ones of it in Legends Arceus (I don't even have the dex perfected yet I've found FIVE whilst just journeying around the Icelands. All I want is a Rufflet....)

Also, have you ever considered picking up the $500 life size Mareep plush?
