@reporterdavid I'm sticking with the base Switch Online plan. I have about half those N64 games on my Wii U, but I just have way too many ways to play Sega's classics. I have Sonic 1 on every system I have released after 2000, minus my Wii U.
I do hope those who have this are enjoying Star Fox 64, that's my favorite N64 game. I have it on Wii, Wii U, the 3DS remake, and I own the original cart.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@MarioLover92 Ah okay. That's actually a happy thing for me to hear. I heard that the game is relatively short, so it's great that it seems tough. Oh man, I'm so ready for the music.. Ahh I see not much a strategy gamer, eh? Do ya play RPGs more tho or does that kinda hop into the same boat XD.
@Sunsy Right. Man talking about the Gameboy is making me sad lmao. It would have been so cool to have GBA family games. EVEN GB-GBC would be awesome. Pokemon Pinball, Kirby Pinball, Super Mario Land 2, Links Awakening, Pokemons, etc. On top of that, the N64 online seems to have some work needed on it, I doubt GBA fam would have needed as much TLC.
And ahh i see.. yea Avatars look interesting for me as a noob streamer. Super Mario USA is uber difficult from what I remember. Darn purple poison shrooms ><;
@Tyranexx Great ^^! How dare you say that about my beloved LM1!! Blasphemy. XD Totally loving this game, I think I'm just a straight fan of the Luigi's Mansion series. It just feels like an interesting take on the Mario Bros world. The same goes for Captain Toad Treasure Tracker albeit that that game seems more rigid and boxed in like a diorama. Ah man, I gotta find a good sale on that. But yea, it feels like expanding the Mario Universe which bring in new worlds, characters (polterpup <3), designs, mechanics, you name it.
And lmao! If you were to watch my last ep of my LM3 stream, you'd see how much we differ on that level. That [spoilers]plant level[/spoilers] had me enamored with the overgrown shrubbery, the boss ghost design, and then the little buzz saw. OH man the little buzz saw. I sucked up that buzz saw and felt so powerful and derp that I started cutting everything in that room up. And now you got me hyped to get to the next floor!
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@Sunsy I know that Pokemon Pinball: R&S is on the Wii U VC, you could give it a shot on there. I think I played a little bit of that back in the day, though as I said earlier, it was my brother's. He was (and still is) a massive Pokemon fan, he had like all the games and a bunch of the trading cards.
@tekoii Yeah, I do play RPGs from time to time, out of those two RPGs are what I play the most. I sometimes play tactical games as well, when I'm in the mood for them, and I have a fair amount of them like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars. I just like platformers more. lol
@1UP_MARIO Nice, I have it on N64, Wii VC, and 3D All-Stars. I have the DS remake as well. I think I recall seeing that SM64 is your favorite 3D Mario game?

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@tekoii
Strategy games ?
I have ever played Final Fantasy Tactics PS1 long time ago. Last time playing in year 2005.
Currently, I play Tactic game section from Evoland 2 PS4. This game is hilarious as it has multi genre on it and has a lot of cameo from recognizable video games such as Mario, Zelda, Street Fighter, Bomberman, Chrono Trigger, DDR, Beat Em Up, Shoot em up, Metroidvania, etc.
You should try Evoland 1 + 2 Legendary Edition.
@1UP_MARIO
I have experienced with old school 3D platformers during early 2000's era like Ratchet & Clank 1 on PS3 and it was really hard by given only 4 lives to survive, Kao the Kangaroo 2 on Gamecube as the game has really strict requirements in completing the challenge and precise timing. 😩
Old games tend to be really hard to beat than modern games.
@1UP_MARIO That's cool. It's easily my most nostalgic 3D Mario game, I played it a ton when I was a child. Though, my favorite ones are Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.

Been eyeing the XM4s forever, but I finally bit. I've never had to do so much maintenance on a pair of cans like this. They sound arse out of the box, really flat, muddy, overly base heavy sound. Like someone is playing it through a speaker wrapped in a cloth bag. However, fiddling around with the EQ though and unlocking the LDAC settings in my phone, damn these sound so ***** good. Shame high bitrate LDAC stutters when you use your phone and when you have WiFi on, but since I mostly use Spotify I guess 990kbps isn't necessarily in the least, can run the next one down without any stuttering at all.
@tekoii Yeah, I saw some videos last night showing the lag the online play had. Doesn't surprise me given I had lag even with the NES games. Though the SNES stuff played fine, friend and I played Super Mario All-Stars no problem (honestly, it's really fun online).
I do find it amusing the few third party games I've played online with my friend on NSO (Puyo Puyo Champions and Team Sonic Racing come to mind), they play fine, no lag at all in my experience. While Smash lags (I can't be the only one confused how F2P Brawlhalla has better net play and doesn't need an NSO subscription).
Oh, Super Mario USA is actually the US Super Mario 2 in Japan, that's what Korone was playing. I think you're thinking of The Lost Levels. Yeah, that one was hard.
@MarioLover92 Oh wow, I'm actually surprised. I didn't know that Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire appeared on Wii U. Thanks, I'll try and grab it one day. That's cool your brother was a massive Pokemon fan.
This seems to be an unpopular opinion but I prefer Luigi's Mansion 2 over the first one. I have Luigi's Mansion 3 in my backlog but I was also gifted Dying Light so I haven't played it yet despite of having it right here with me. Let's see if I have a new favourite after I play 3.
@Ninjalaislit Not gonna lie I did feel a bit worried around the middle of the year when we got next to zero information on the state of PS5 releases, but that September PlayStation Showcase changed that thankfully, and there’s at least half a dozen more games I’m very excited to give a go now, ranging from GT7 to Horizon: Forbidden West, the next Marvel’s Spider-Man, and more. Shame of course they’re making these games PS4 compatible though. While I see the perks due to the microprocessor supply shortages it means these games can’t actually make full use of the PS5’s specs.
Microsoft specifically does need to wait, as you say, to enjoy the benefits of a Bethesda making games just for their system. Though Bethesda’s rep over the last three years has been shady at best so I hope this change of ownership actually forces them to up their game, for the sake of the entire Xbox brand as a whole. While one part of me is glad that one of the less acclaimed devs are being tapered off somewhere else they did make Skyrim and more, so that doesn’t erase their good deeds. I watched Internet Historian’s video on Fallout 76 and dear oh dear did that go wrong. I’ll link that in case you’re interested.
Well… we trusted Nintendo’s silence and we got absolutely rewarded in spades when E3 rolled around. I really hate it when stuff is leaked, because it ruins the potential of the surprise. HW: Age of Calamity was one game that wasn’t leaked before reveal and I was much more excited than for the 3D All Stars collection due to that. People seem to only remain docile with this approach with Nintendo though, Bayonetta 3 was only just revealed and the last four years people have been piling abuse after abuse and threat after threat on Hideki Kamiya. Obviously he didn’t help by saying some pretty silly things to media but I’m sure he’s forgiven now!
Believe it or not every single DLC thus far has been free. I bought the game just after the Pathfinder update in November 2016 and it was such a different game compared to… even a year later, let alone five. Their success was inspirational, and the lesson there is something everyone should take to heart; if you don’t succeed the first time don’t make silly excuses, just get back to work and fix it! Either way that was such a journey, one that one way or another is still going on.
Apologies for the later response, hope this makes up for it!
