@TheJGG DK anniversary stuff, paper mario for smash dlc, mario kart 8 dlc, a mario platformer, mario + rabbids sparks of hope and splatoon 3 and botw 2 and metroid dread news.
@WoomyNNYes D'oh! No Pokemon or turn-based!? Eh, I understand... everyone has different likes and dislikes We're definitely around the same level in terms of RL, though I would say you are probably better considering you won that challengers tournament, right? I'd say you're pretty solid in hoops just need to actually play the mode. But yea man, we'll dominate hoops again sometime (at random) >;D
@tekoii Hmmm allready nice titles. Please dont fill it will a half hour metroid. we got that. rather new things... allthough there is already a lot. I think I made the choice to go for Nickelodeon All Star Brawl first, or maby pick up Gamemaker. My wish is that Goldeneye might come again to do coop.
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@tekoii Yeah, I unlocked the All-Star cup rewards last season. I've won several platinum cup 3v3 tournaments(solo queueing). In July, I came super close to winning a diamond 3v3 tournament - We made it to game 3 of the final - SO CLOSE!
Side note, last week I FINALLY landed an unpainted Dingo car. I thought I was never going to get one. I can't believe how long it took to get one.
Yeah, I'll try and spend more time in hoops to get more familiar with that arena - learn the angles & strategies for offense/defense.
This is my take on the Direct from what we've seen/heard so far
Maybe:
Bayonetta 3 since they want to show something but Nintendo didn't let them yet
Some Metroid Ports
We still need an announcement for the next Mario game so probably that
Mario & Luigi RPG, I know that the company shut down that made the M&L games but we might see something from another developer
Something from Monolith Soft
Something from ATLUS, probably Etrian Odyssey, maybe Project Re Fantasy or another Perona Q game
Probably something from Intelligent Systems in the lines of a Fire Emblem Remake, which was highly discussed & speculated and Wayforward (?) is handling Advance Wars
Highly Likely:
Next smash DLC character
Some updates to existing games (Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, maybe Mario Kart)
Updates to announced games (Splatoon3, Mario + Rabbids)
A recap to Pokémon Arceus & The Gen 4 remakes
Some ports that have been rated in various countries but not yet revealed (hack & Alan Wake for example)
Some Indies
Something from Donkey Kong (Maybe from Zelda & Metroid)
Nintendo Online Updated games + N64 or GameBoy emulator
@tekoii
I want another Starfox games with Ratchet & Clank style where Fox McCloud, Falco, Slippy & Peppy Hare are playable characters with different abilities each other and the gameplay is mixture of 3rd person shooting with 3D platformer and on rail shooter like old style Starfox for certain missions.
@Snatcher
Also, I want to see a scenario where Fox McCloud can time travel and he can meet with his father after he thought his father was died. Not just only meet each other, I really want to see some father and son time moment to see a bond relationship between father and son after long time no see each other.
Yesterday evening got away from me. I ran off from work a bit early to watch Free Guy at the local theater ($5 Tuesdays = yay), got home from that, then spent almost an hour and a half researching and trying (and failing, for awhile) to book a hotel room for a weekend excursion in a neighboring state. Either I picked a hot weekend for the area I'm going to, or hotel booking sites have more trouble than I'm used to...which is saying something.
Very excited there's a Nintendo Direct tomorrow! I can actually catch it live for a change, so I hope to check into the pre-Direct hype in the live chat here if I can get away from work early enough.
@Snatcher I wholeheartedly recommend Free Guy! Plenty of action, funny, Reynolds and most of the other cast members are great in their respective roles, and it's a definite nod towards gaming culture with plenty of cameos and terms. I daresay it isn't hard to follow unless someone isn't paying attention. Truth be told, I forgot it was a Disney film until towards the end...but I won't spoil why. XD
@Ryu_Niiyama To be honest, much of the drama isn't mine (currently) but has to do with my sister's fiancee's family....It's a very long story, one that would require a typed novel, so I'll refrain for now. XD Let's just say that soap operas and the Kardashians are only mildly more dramatic. I'm one of the bridesmaids, but not the maid of honor, which I'm fine with (Won't have to speak that way lol). Interesting, I hear of bridezillas more often! I'm worried my sister will be a bit of one, but to be fair she's stressed to the max right now with wedding planning, being a full-time college student, and the aforementioned drama. She's cramming classes so that she can graduate with her teaching degree right before her wedding in mid-December. She has a team of people on her side to bring her back down to Earth at least. Thanks for the well wishes! Glad I'm not the only one who takes off around their b-day; I think we've both earned it!
I took a college class on PHP. While I did well in the course for the most part, I wasn't a fan of the language. I enjoy programming and my current position, but I'm not as gung-ho about coding outside of work hours these days. 8+ hours a day is enough, and I experienced burnout at different points thanks to overwork at my previous job (For the pay level, I want to go back and slap past me) + personal projects at the time. Don't want to deal with that again. No problem on the unintentional but lucky reminders, I hope you were able to solve those issues! I have some minor experience with AWS, but admittedly none with Azure.
@MarioLover92 I likely watched The Lion King enough to drive my parents and aunt (who babysat me) crazy! XD It's one of my favorite movies. The live action movie was kinda disappointing in comparison. You've listed a lot of other movies in the Disney library that I enjoy too. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie from that time period, namely because Belle didn't just sit back and do nothing like other Disney princesses I'd seen before that point. I laugh at Giant Ursula in The Little Mermaid now, but that scene terrified me more than Chernabog during the Night On Bald Mountain bit from Fantasia! I'm also a huge fan of Mulan (the animated version) and The Emperor's New Groove. The latter is, in my humble opinion, an underrated gem.
@tekoii HAH! She's very active and busy! But staying sane so far...barely.
The haunted house is a paid attraction and is on our state's haunted house registry. People's reactions are one of my favorite things about it. Obviously the scared reactions are the best, but I'm fine if people are smiling and enjoying themselves too. The only guests I dislike are the ones who pretend they're bored (Why'd you even pay to come in then?), try to cover up by acting macho [insert word(s) of choice here), or ruin everything for the rest of their group by pointing out a scare before it happens. We do follow rules - we're a no touch haunt, though we can bend the rules a little for people we know well lol - as do (or should) the guests. Most guests are fine, but some people either don't pay attention to the rules when they're read by a video before entering (they're also posted), are clueless in general, or in rare cases, impaired in some way. We have clear warnings that those with epilepsy shouldn't enter, and we had a couple of ambulance calls my first year thanks to that ignorance. We also ban flashlights and phones from being used as a light source. Those are minor, but in a dark maze once we actually had a guy pull out a lighter to use. Security got him out pretty quickly.
Most of the provided food ranges from edible to decent. Can't say I've ever went hungry! ^_^
