@Sunsy Ok I'm going to say this, that plants vs zombie game is nothing like the first two GW games there going to feel janky waky and overall very buggy (This is the ps4 ver. btw) so the switch one is proabably

going to run like crap, also you don't even have to be good at the game anymore its whoever jumps and shoots the most wins, plus the game is dead, so dead they had to fill every game with bots I would find a

whole team of them, then ea cut the game off after less then a year bc it wasn't working the way they want it to, don't even get me started on the battle pass its the worst, oh and there is also micro transactions yaaaaaa. its a really bad game and I would stay away from it, this is coming from somewon

who played both part one and 2 though its whole lifespan (Btw Gw2 is doing better then this game) It was good at first, but once you start seeing all the stuff below its a very crappy game and this switch port is nothing but a cash crab.

I watched the Direct this morning but mostly i quickly quit from watching the Direct from Youtube Nintendo Switch when i sensed something rated 18+ things before even i saw further.
Only Miitopia HD and Mario items for ACNH got my attention.

The direct was ok, there were some interesting announcements, though not much that appealed to me personally, unfortunately. The Smash reveal did indeed caught me by surprise though, I didn't see it becoming that.

@Snatcher I'll probably take microtransactions with a grain of salt, as the trailer and article says "Complete Edition." While I don't mind buying a cosmetic for my character in a F2P game, I'll most likely won't do it in a full retail game anyway as I already paid for it. Difference being one is free and the other is paid.

I'll keep the rest in mind and wait to see gameplay on it, or even buy it when it's on sale. Thanks for sharing your experience with it. Didn't know it was different than the Garden Warfare game I played with my nephew.

Don't worry about it being long, I think I've read longer anyway, lol.

@Sunsy they have updated reviews for it on youtube so I would go check those out.

@Eel Well, I sent you a request either way. Hopefully we can get times for raids a little more easily there.

I think it's entirely possible they waited for an XC2 character on purpose because they wanted to do Pyra/Mythra from the start - and if they had done that back then, it would be a pretty major spoiler at that time. But now it's pretty fair game for a game that's been out this long.

@Anti-Matter Umm what? There wasn't a single thing on there remotely near 18+. I know you don't like that kind of thing, but this was extremely safe. I'd have no qualms about showing this to a bunch of elementary school kids, in school. It's that safe.

I mean, it's fine if you don't like things and all, but to say there was anything 18+? Like, what? I don't have any idea what you're referring to.

In other news though, I absolutely called the working Mario warp pipes! I said that weeks ago and we got them!

It already mentioned from the beginning of Direct.
The age rating said very clearly.
When i sensed something looks like rated 18+ games (Not cartoonish, dark theme looking), whether they are really 18+ games or not, i immediately quit from watching, wait for several seconds until i thought it was safe to watch again then i continue watching the Direct.
I rely on the live comments to tell what kind of games the peoples saw.

Oh, also i quit watching for a while for really really uninteresting games such as Star Wars, Smash Bros new characters, etc.

Now I have fall guys on the ps4 but I just love playing any were. So I will get fall guys on the switch, just wished they showed how it looked on the switch instead on pc footage.

Did you still play Japanese 3DS games ?
I saw from Japanese 3DS eshop last time there was a huge Discount (up to 90% until 1st March 2021) for Level-5 games, especially Yokai Watch games. The price was mostly 500 Yen during huge sale.

I played Yokai Watch Blaster White Dog Squad USA and Yokai Watch 3 Tempura Japan recently but for Tempura 3, i was a bit confused with Battle system as i have never played mainline Yokai Watch games on 3DS.

Finally watched the Direct a little bit ago! I was able to remain (mostly) unspoiled. Most of my impressions are in my response to Heavyarms55.

Honestly, the DC Super Hero Girls game would've caught my eye if it wasn't clearly aimed at a Tween audience and used the adult characters. If I recall, isn't it based on an animated show?

@Heavyarms55, @Eel Thanks for the remote raid invites earlier! Unfortunately I was away from my phone and didn't see the notifications until way too late. It was a food prep night, so I was trying to clean up my kitchen from that, do dishes, and get everything else in order before watching the Direct!

@Heavyarms55 Overall, the Direct was quite decent! I liked a lot of what I saw, and I agree that there's something for about everyone. Any haters/whiners just want something to complain about lol.

While I don't need most of the titles on offer, these announcements definitely stood out:

• Project Triangle Strategy: The big all-new reveal for me! The art style reminded me of Octopath Traveler out of the gate (Own it but still need to play it); I can definitely get on board with Octopath x Fire Emblem! I love how it appears every decision you make can affect the story, adding to replayability! I've never played a Final Fantasy Tactics game, but I've seen this compared to that.
• Skyward Sword HD: I 100%ed the game on the Wii, but I will definitely pick it up again!....Probably not day one though unless there's a really tempting pre-order bonus that shows up. It's a fun Zelda title and very much worth revisiting. It isn't my favorite in the series, but that's in part because so many other titles set the bar so high! Also, I want those Joy-Cons!
• More BotW 2 news later this year: I'm glad they gave an update on development, and honestly I'm fine with the game likely drifting into 2022. Look what happened with the first game as a result! Besides, it gives me more time to get around to the first game's DLC and Age of Calamity!
• Pyra/Mythra in Smash: I was trolled hard too. But in my case, I'm kinda relieved lol. I haven't got around to playing XC2 yet and was worried it was another expansion announcement similar to Torna. I was afraid of needing to play more catch-up! I'm glad for Smash fans. I'm not a huge Smash fan personally; I don't dislike the series, but like with most fighting games it just doesn't hold my attention for very long.

The rest of it was full of mostly games that I knew people would be happy to see. Some of them brought a smile to my face, but there wasn't anything else I absolutely had to have. It was definitely worth the watch!

@Anti-Matter I figured you'd be stoked by the Miitopia announcement! I thought I recalled reading somewhere that you enjoyed the game on 3DS!

I really hope Nintendo fix the Battle system for Miitopia HD as only my first Mii that can take direct command while other Miis just randomly perform their commands.
I always nervous everytime i bring Tank or Chef jobs on battlefield as Chef can randomly cook the spicy food to make other Mii throw their Fire breath toward enemy and ruin the relationship or Tank can randomly use other Mii as their projectile ammo and ruin the relationship too.
I want a direct control for every Mii i played.
Their reaction can be randomly generated.

Last time I had to watch something whilst eating dinner was when I saw the 25th Anniversary Phantom of the Opera, (streamed on YouTube) and just began eating a pizza. So of course I did the most sensible thing and let the pizza go cold. It was a great show.

@Tyranexx I hope they don't straight up 1080p60 the game and just leave it. I also hope they don't lock content behind amiibo, because only a small amount of people would be able to access it.

I love Skyward Sword deeply, and while I understand peoples' complaints about motion controls I think they're far too easily angered. For the most part the people in the live chat on YouTube, which I turned off before the Direct started, were ungrateful, spoilt and moronic. People need to keep their expectations realistic. Only two of my predictions came true (out of five) but I'm not even angry; we have Skyward Sword!

@Heavyarms55 Agree with everything. As much as I appreciate Sakurai's work to get all these fighters in, I prefer Xenoblade to Smash as well. It's not even because of the art styles, I like it for its stories, characters, worlds and gameplay. All three, actually. 1, X, 2, in that order from best to least best. Do wish we got some new Zelda games, it's been an awful few years without any 3D titles on Switch.

I know I'm doing what he wants (giving attention), but Anti's reaction is characteristically misguided. Oh my God, No More Heroes III is rated 18? Oh my god we can see Pyra's ankles? Oh no, the Solar System's getting destroyed! Oh no, we saw the Inkling's legs! Satanic! Get that outta my sight!

He probably liked the DC female Superhero game.

@Anti-Matter Relying on the live chat for games is like relying on Trump for COVID guidance. When half the people there just say things like "Dante for smash", "botw 2's not in this direct is trash" and "omg anime character again" that's a very easy red flag.

@Snatcher About Plants vs Zombies, it's by EA, who hate the Switch. Of course it'll look like someone regurgitated on the screen. As they say, t'sin the game.

@Eel Pyra and Mythra were probably fourth on my nonexistent list. I'm happy we got them though, because of the good music, some potential remixes, and the new Xenoblade exposure.

I don't even like DC superheroes, any Western superheroes.
My reaction was Blah when i saw it.
Btw, i have sharp instinct that told me to play the Direct again or quit watching the Direct for a while whenever i saw something not cartoonish, too dark theme, something Too Western, i will immediately quit watching for a while.
I watched the Direct from Youtube Nintendo Switch so i just pressed B button to quit and pressed A button to play the Direct again while i used my smartphone to watch over the live comments to tell the timing of what kind of games that being aired. I don't even need to know what titles are they, nor even care their existences, just skip them completely wait until it was already safe to watch again.
What i saw from my eyes it will be recorded in my brain permanently so i would better not seeing at all, know their names and their existences or it will only trigger my anger and disgust.

Anyway, i got something outside of Nintendo Direct, thanks to playasia.
I saw new Doraemon game on Switch, Yonder the Cloud Catcher Chronicles Enhanced version on Switch & PS5.

There were some girly games on Switch i like.
I already have Pretty Princess Party, the other titles are in my shopping list are Model Debut Nicola, My Universe games by Microids, even i considered Miitopia as girly and quirky game.
