It's gonna rain here this week too. It's been pretty hot, maybe I'll get some ice cream today.

Did 2020 feel really long for anyone else? Usually when it's december I'm like "wow, it's december already!", but this year it felt like an eternity.

Felt quick for me. Not saying it was fun though.

All things considered it was quick for me. I still remember the few social things i'd done before COVID. Saw the original King Kong in theaters the week before lockdown. Feels like it happened a week ago.

And then wonderful America where it's so cold I might freeze to death without my portable heater.

@Vinny I'd say the first half was really long, but I don't know where the time went between July-December.

@HotGoomba___Rebrand this was the first day of the year where my some of my hair froze solid when I got out of the shower - so keep that portable heater close! I'm in Scotland but I'm sure people can freeze to death over in the US too

Talking about that, apparently some days ago a Russian livestreamer was extremely awful and, as requested by an user that donated a relatively large amount of money, he locked his girlfriend out in the Russian cold for several minutes.

He then proceeded to continue streaming after she died of hypothermia on camera.

She was apparently pregnant as well.

@Eel That's, ummm, to put it lightly, awful.

• I believe that GameCube and Wii games will be sold separately as well.
  However, I believe this is the case, because if Nintendo were to make a GameCube and Wii NSO app, (like NES and Super NES) the file sizes would be probably get too big for some users (especially for Wii).
  IIRC, the NES and Super NES NSO apps are still under 1 GB.

I didn't play DDR Arcade since 15 March 2020 due to covid19 pandemic.
I got weight gain 5 kg for not playing DDR Arcade for long time. 😣
I got some fat on my belly and hip, never before experienced with weight gain, i feel embarrassed when i see my reflection on the mirror.

Well folks, I finally started playing through Breath of the Wild! Now I can finally experience what everyone has been raving about for the past 3+ years! @NintendoByNature can sleep peacefully now. Really enjoying my time with the game so far. Still trying to get in the groove of things. Beating up bokoblins, finding random stuff and trying to figure out what to do with it, following directions from an insane old dude....Definitely fun. And I'm sure I've barely scratched the surface.

@MarioLover92 Most of my early video game exposure was to platformers on the NES and SNES (mainly the latter) that relatives owned. Some Sega Genesis exposure through a babysitter too. I was easily pulled into the multimedia bubble as a kid; I only wanted games that had to do with TV shows, movies, and/or characters I was into. I loved Pokemon, but it was pretty much my only RPG series for years until I played the Mega Man Battle Network games (I liked the anime that aired here for it, Megaman NT Warrior). I owned some of the earlier Harry Potter games too, namely the ones that were in action/adventure and RPG formats; an excellent studio named Griptonite handled these, but the entries became more mediocre and were clearly cash-grabs after EA took over development.

I unfortunately didn't know about Nintendo Power until it almost ceased publication. Such a shame; I would have loved to read through them!

@Heavyarms55 Did you hatch Rufflet? I don't have either it or Vullaby unfortunately. I'm terrible at finding 10k eggs.

I did get out to play for a little while today and have enough to evolve a few of my new Pokemon now. I think I'll wait until I can use a Lucky Egg, which probably won't be until this next weekend during the C-day event.

@Tyranexx The authorities did step in, but he's only getting 15 years in prison.

I could steal a bag of chips and get the same sentencing.

@HotGoomba___Rebrand @Tyranexx Yeah, apparently in Russia, domestic abuse is not something they consider a big deal. Legally speaking.

The jail time could end up being even shorter.

My BOTW still being neglected for more than 3 years.
I thought i bought wrong game that only have a little hype before buying but lost interest with it quickly after bought.
My Xenoblade 2 also neglected for same reason as BOTW.
I guess i'm not kind of gamer who was born with natural interest like most gamers here.
My natural interest is completely different.

@NintendoByNature Thanks! I do recall you mentioning playing through it again! No pointers needed yet - still adapting to controls, getting better about learning which buttons do what - but I'll keep you in mind if I get irrevocably stuck.

@Anti-Matter Maybe you just aren't into games with an open world format? Nothing wrong with that. Just play what you want.

Does anyone know anything about the legal use of images for YouTube icons and banners? Am I able to freely use images for my icon, or what? Would I be able to use the images on the Nintendo wikias?

I'm kinda clueless when it comes to this legal stuff
