Yup. I'm still sitting in the tournament in case someone drops in. Just felt like screwing around tonight. There's a chance my Crash Team Racing muscle memory will make me hit the outside of the turns a few times. I'm still decent, though.

Bowser's Castle is one of my favorite tracks in MK8. One of the better designed stages IMO. Though seeing Giant Bowser when playing as normal Bowser is a bit weird. XD It must be an animatronic.

...I have regretted a couple of freebies before, however. I'm one of the crazy souls who downloaded The First Skunk Bundle on the Wii U several years ago; the collection was completely free for a limited time, but the eShop still rewarded gold coins. All five games ranged from meh to just plain bad. XD
@Heavyarms55 I'm taking it seriously for the most part, though wearing a mask outdoors around here crosses the line for me unless I know I'll be in an area with a lot of people. I wear them indoors just about everywhere these days, barring small gatherings at private residences. We do get a reprieve at work; we have to wear masks when wandering the halls and interacting with others, but our desks are far enough apart and/or have barriers and other dividers that social distancing is possible without them.
Many businesses and some people are taking it seriously, but the rest....Well, some of the less...erm, strange logic I'm hearing equates to "Yeah, so we're sick of this, it's here to stay, what's the point?". I'm kind of in the middle about it all; I'm taking it seriously and trying to follow protocols (And honestly, I was social distancing and a frequent handwasher even before COVID was a thing), but I also haven't barricaded myself in my house with a year's worth of canned and boxed goods...or enough toilet paper to build a replica of Peach's Castle, for that matter.
You've had a heck of a move, so it's no surprise that a lot of your time has been occupied by that and all related affairs. Insomnia is bleh. I've thankfully only ever had mild insomnia (sometimes due to Prednisone; poison ivy and I don't mix), and it's usually not a huge issue these days as I frequently tire myself out during the day. No problem with said edibles either as I'd consider that a medical reason lol.

Had to quit TW101 early this evening as I'm...shall we say...steamed at it right now. [Read: Beyond PO'ed] I'm in the middle of chapter 4 of the main story, and I CAN'T for the life of me get past this annoying QTE during the fight between Wonder-Red and Wonder-Blue. The best I've been able to figure out is to time pressing the A button gradually faster, but I STILL get kicked away and need to repeat that last part of the fight sequence. Over. And over. And over. Expletives flew freely, and my hand was cramping to the point where I knew I had to call it an evening before my Joycons mysteriously flew out the window.
Either I'm missing something related to timing, or I'm just THAT bad at pure action games....
Oooh, tarantulas! Let me hold one! 😍 (Within reason. I'll hold game animals, but I'm not crazy enough to tromp around and pick them up in the wild at random).
Honestly the only thing keeping me from having a pet tarantula, is that I don't really have a reliable source of food for one. Given that they eat live insects and stuff (and raising them at home just to have it eat one every two weeks seems like a hassle). But I'd certainly love having one.
Same goes for snakes. I'd love to have one again, but feeding them is not quite as easy as buying kibble.
