@RedderRugfish Either a kid or a troll, if a kid cut them some slack...if a troll, ignore. That being said cough. Looking at that grammar...MY EYE! HELP! SEND BLEACH!
Do we not have grammar lessons anymore? I am trying to not go into an old lady rant...
EDIT: Ok, none of that is fair to the poster and uncalled for. My apologies.

Also question: Is that the party for a 15 year old girl or a 15 year old boy? Or do they have the same name? Just curious, my only rite of passage was when I turned 14 my mom abducted me from school and made me get my Learner's Permit (I'm serious, it was spirit week and I have a yellow and blue eyebrow on an government ID because of that) and a job at Chick-fil-A.

@Ryu_Niiyama only girls get quinceaƱeras. It's a whole show with a princess dress and male backup dancers. Some throw a doll like it's a brides bouquet, "her last doll".
It's meant to represent she's no longer a little girl. Or something like that.
@Morpheel Did you just say male backup dancers? That is hilarious. How does that work if you are gay though? Can you switch out the boys? If so that sounds way better than Prom.
The guys don't get anything? How do ya'll celebrate adulthood?

@Ryu_Niiyama Well, it's mostly organized by the parents, and the chambelanes (the guys) are usually just schoolmates. To be honest I've never seen one with female dancers, but I don't doubt there have been examples. ..?
It's kind of a preppy showy fancy event, so not all girls want or are able to get one. Some girls I know preferred to go on a fancy vacation instead of a party.

@MsJubilee Earthquakes are no joke indeed. But I always find the idea that they are divine punishment to be laughable. Only now does God punish us? Anyone who's spent time studying history knows that humanity has done countless atrocious things and not been directly punished for them.
It's just nature doing its thing. Bad luck for those in the area. There have been major natural disasters in areas with no people at all. So what would that be? God smiting a squirrel?
And just to be clear, I'm not mocking faith. I just don't think natural disasters are diving punishment. It just doesn't add up right if they were.
@Ryu_Niiyama If I changed my name.... Well, you certainly did change my name.
You made a typo in it, so I didn't get tagged.
Anyway, the name change on here happened a long time ago already. It used to be TheRealThanos, and now it's ThanosReXXX, a name better fitting both me and the character. The former was born out of frustration and a refusal to conform to the stupid suggestions of various internet forums. (That username already exist. Other suggestions: Thanos321745, Than0s59, etc. etc.) Either way, I've already been using this improved username for quite a while now, so it's not exactly new anymore.
As for the rest: I'll try to keep it somewhat short (although I probably won't succeed), also not to completely overwhelm @HobbitGamer, even though him not daring to dive into our mutual exchange of text walls truly is his own loss, because there's some good, and almost sage stuff in there...
Your response again tells me, or gives me the impression that your view on life is different from mine, simply because of what you experienced while growing up, getting older and making the choices that you have. And all of that is obviously fine, so we're good on that part.
Now, as for me: I sure as heck am no altruist. I'm social, not stupid or naive. There will be no giving of fish after my rod breaks. I may be polite and kind, but I'm also nowhere near subservient. I have a dominant nature, and I bow to no one. When I was young, I had aggression problems because of that, also because I was really small for a very long time. I finally got a growth spurt after I became 15 or 16. Reunions at school were always funny, because they literally used to look down on me, and now it was the other way around, teachers included...
Far as I'm concerned, only the current generation is on auto-pilot, not my generation, or the one before that. I think we've got to find a way to take away their techno-trinkets and show them that there's an actual, real world that's passing them by, because they're only focused on their online lives instead of their real one...
But totally agreed on being the best you that you can be, although then I see you write "what kind of woman will you become today" but to me that almost reads like you putting on another mask every time (mind you: interpretation), while I only want to be me, and to hell with people that can't handle or accept that. Now, that may sound harsh, but what I mean by that is that I'm indeed just going to be the best version of me, and being all polite and social while doing that. Unless of course, people are trying to disadvantage and/or disrupt me in some way, in which case the proverbial Mad Titan comes to the surface...
As for the trolls: we kinda semi-agree on that, because I do believe ignoring them helps, also from my own experience, but again, that also depends on personal situations. I just don't like putting everything in predetermined boxes with fixed labels. Sure, there'll be some persistent trolls, but nine out of ten times, you taking away the reason why they do what they do is more than enough to see them clear off.
@Link-Hero I do believe that I was the one who said "only bad people go to hell" and of course that was only a joke. Just in case you actually thought I meant it. Religion is not for me. Too many holes in the plot...
@Morpheel Mari-oh? REALLY?
By the way: the "Shantea" joke was spot on.
