@bimmy-lee Oh man, that is a lot of work. But I bet you stood there and stared awhile after it was all done 😂 Mine isn’t too rough, but I’ll definitely need more line. My friend is now paying me to do her property, which is great. Our next project is going to be clearing the back 1/3 acre of everything but established trees. Originally she only fenced a portion of the backyard, but now kudzu is using gravity for its on dastardly plans of plank destruction. I can’t wait, I’ve already sharpened my machete. I love a good brush clearing.
I decided to put on the Nintendo championship and catch Smash. The splatoon stuff confuses me cuz I couldn’t make it past the demo.

I'm doing some cleaning this weekend as well. Just the routine stuff that I do every couple of weeks mostly. I'm gonna need to reserve some time soon to spray down some brush though. I don't want the creeper to overtake my shed.

I'm currently heading to a yearly performance my mom, sister, and I normally attend about an hour away. I haven't played PoGo in this town yet, so I'm hoping to get some new Poke Stops in and catch a shiny Slakoth while I'm at it. It's a college town, and the performance itself is at the university.

@HobbitGamer - Hard to beat vigorous machete swinging. I had to look up kudzu. I thought maybe you had a Lovecraft monster on the loose. Now I know the vine “that ate the south”. I’ve seen it in lots of pictures before, so it’s cool to know what it is. I love pictures of nature taking over abandoned man made structures. You guys better start hacking away at it before people in the neighborhood start disappearing. It can grow 65’ annually! Incredible.

@bimmy-lee It pretty much is a Lovecraft monster. You can only kill it by removing and destroying a ‘heart’.

@ReaderRagfish yeah this thread should be mostly leak free. We probably won't even talk about Mario Kart 9 reveal at all.

Key sentence here: I never was much of a Nintendo-online gamer to begin with. And besides that, far as I know, all online servers still live for the Wii mainly consist of custom versions of these games, so you also have to install all kinds of patches and add-ons on an SD card or external hard drive, to be able to join in. But even if that isn't true, I honestly couldn't care less. I only ever game online on the Xbox, and only with friends that I actually know.

@NEStalgia Feel free to ask me about anything comics-related that you didn't understand. I'm certainly NOT going to help you to get back to the topics of trains, however. Both are basically topics for nerds/niche audiences, but at least comics are still cool, especially now that Marvel has more or less become mainstream...

As for Mario Kart 9: too late for me. I already watched that OBE1 video about the entire Nintendo presentation being leaked. Nintendo has no more surprises for me this year...

@ReaderRagfish What leaks? Compared to last year, it's dead calm right now. Probably also because there isn't any "NX-sized" secret to be announced...

@Tyranexx To be honest, I only ever feel a mild annoyance, but it does make me wonder every now and then, seeing as sometimes, days can pass and there's only one or two extra pages, and yesterday, it was a whole five pages, and to top it off, removed comments, something that annoys me to no end, because it disrupts the flow of a discussion, making it look like some people are talking to someone who isn't there, and I positively HATE things that don't make sense...

I gotta be honest. Whenever I see a text wall from @ThanosReXXX , and my name not in it, I feel like a little part of me dies each time since everyone seems to be included in them 😉

I managed to bag one shiny Slakoth (bad IVs, but meh) and nabbed a few new stops to boot. The campus was ripe with them, but due to time constraints, I was only able to hit 1/4 of them.

@ThanosReXXX I get over it pretty quickly lol. Since this thread isn't on any particular topic, I don't feel as obligated to follow along. That kinda depends on how many pages it's moved though, and how many posts I actually read or skim....

(I do read a majority of the posts here, but some of the wordier ones I sometimes skim through or ignore completely. Ain't nobody got time for that! )

@NintendoByNature Text walls with several persons in them simply represent me trying to answer all people that addressed me earlier. I used to have this non-allowed habit of multi-posting, and now I just copy/paste the heck out of it, to put all quotes, questions and answers all in one comment.

And seeing as there was no question or comment from you to be replied to, you were obviously not included.
But contrary to my rather nefarious virtual counterpart, I always remember (and keep in mind) all the good people, so you aren't forgotten regardless. Hope that makes up for not being included...

Of course, when I launch the game on my mom's phone to get her a few slakoths, the second is shiny.

I guess it was my luck running out after finding two shiny anotriths and a kabuto some days ago.

So i was watching the smash tourney and tuned out when Doug browser came on as we were eating dinner. Did he say anything worth while?

@ThanosReXXX Pretty much the same here for online play. Especially since at GameStop, Play N Trade, and Blockbuster, regular customers that I liked would want to game with some of us workers. Xbox’s gamer tag system is fantastic since it’s like a phone number in that it’s just one thing for any game. A very common sense approach, just expanded upon more as the service grew with parties invite scheduling and such features.
With the exception of a few games, all my pre-Switch was played on Xbox Live. Nintendo games were always played with others together in a social gathering. Playing brawl after work, guitar hero, sports. Playing starfox or Pokémon in line for midnight launches. It was very much like the Switch commercial with ‘Karen’ bringing her Switch to the rooftop dinner.

@HobbitGamer I still fondly remember gleefully elbowing and punching friends next to me on the couch, after I'd finished them off with a head shot in Goldeneye on the N64, and never even being the slightest bit of annoyed at having to accomplish all that by only being able to use a quarter of a 17 inch CRT screen...

@ThanosReXXX Haha, yes! Don’t forget the contraptions and efforts made to obscure half the tv to prevent screen looking in 2v2. Unless it’s the Stacks level. No rules in Stacks!

@Morpheel What's crazy is that I only was able to bag about twenty or so; not only was I stuck in one spot for most of the performance/the community day, but I thought it would be rude to play during the actual performance. XD

I haven't had any luck with shiny spawns in the wild outside of special events, so you're luckier in that regard. Well, besides the shiny Lugia that I bagged after finishing a round of research tasks last month.

I'm kinda curious with Microsoft presentation at E3 2019 , 10 June at 3am (West Indonesia Time).
I think it will be announcement about new Xbox machine, but since i knew Xbox games at E3 presentation will be always 99% 18+ games, i'm kinda concern to getting know what's new from Microsoft.
I just want to know if Microsoft will reveal their new Xbox or not, without watching their 18+ games presentation, i will definetely quit watching the presentation once i saw the inappropriate contents.
What do you think about Microsoft presentation from year to year ?
Did they ever at least show any kiddie Xbox games from their presentation ?
