This could be the basis for a sequel! But, why are they only targeting people named Sean? Hmmm...

What if they killed Sean so they could harvest whatever strange power Seans have and his ghost haunts the game!? I just hope it isn't like The Ring and I have to do something or die....but maybe not because I bought it over a year ago.

@ReaderRagfish This would be a great RPG Maker game! Mostly because I don't have any of the skills to use a proper game engine

@ReaderRagfish Oh that’s right!!! RPG Maker doesn’t come out till March. Plenty of time to make ideas..... So what do we do? Who’s on board??

@ReaderRagfish This sounds like a good plan! Would we able to have more than one person edit it or is one person going to make the entire game?

@HobbitGamer I think they're going to release a free "RPG Player" on the eShop so you can play whatever people make. And that includes Xbox One RPG Maker games too, which is good for a free download

@ReaderRagfish Well it's still a better alternative to Unity or Unreal even if we can't work on it as a group. Being able to play it on Switch is nice too!

It comes out in Japan in November so I guess we'll find out more about it then.

I was fallen asleep while i was playing my NDS game & woke up with my 3DS XL still being turned On (Luckily, my 3DS XL was in Sleep Mode).

...Anyways, I'm thinking RPG Maker MV...because now that I think about it, shouldn't it be better to make a board game out of? I kinda want to make my own version of Fortune Street, lol

After six months of wasting time with Wild Card Toys, I FINALLY got refunded fully after Paypal gave them time to get a grip.

Also, might as well say it again....

Wild Card Toys is basically a ponzi scheme, just checking peoples comments on their twitter reveals they clearly don't care about you, only your money. They don't respond to emails or their costumer service, well, I don't care anymore, i'm already getting my refund, so now I don't gotta deal with them anymore. Take my warning, avoid them, or else they'll send your money to the shadow realm (and not the good kind). It also turns out they have a 2/10 star rating on some website, just adding that in for good measure. Might just add this to signature if I must!

@ReaderRagfish Yeah I was thinking about it, and even with XP you can use scripting (or in MV's case, plug-ins), to make things work. Since the game is already a grid-based movement, I think it could work. So yeah, maybe I'll go with MV, and besides, like I said it's $23 now. lol

That's all fine and dandy, but wtf is Wild Card Toys?

Although having RPG Maker on consoles/handhelds is great, there's one problem I have about those versions....no importing. I'd like to use my own graphics/music and all that.

Yeah, basically you can import MP3s/WAVs for audio to use in your games, same can be said about graphics of any kind. For consoles, you're stuck with the presets...

I had tons of fun with it in the old games, using music from my favorite games as battle themes, and making extremely goofy boss battles. (I think this was in my teen years, lol) I had you fight stuff like the Sesame Street gang, a race made up of Pepsi cans, and other silly references like that. lol

Well yeah for obvious reasons, you can’t have people sharing around games with copyrighted music and graphics (and inappropriate pictures or recordings) on a console.

On PC, you're free to do whatever, if you're just doing it for fun, obviously. Which is what I'm going for, and I'm doing it, gonna wait till tomorrow, though.

As for Fortune Street, I think it's possible, I heard that making a board game with RPG Maker involves events. I know one thing from 2K/XP, I was very good at messing around with events. As for characters, no idea...will need help with sprites/graphics. I'll worry about that later once I figure out how to make the main game work. I just want to have my own personalized cast of favorite video game/anime characters.

I seriously wished they would a WarioWare DIY 2...as great as original one was, it had its limits. I kinda want a Rhythm Heaven DIY too, but...eh, we're better off with someone making a fan-made version of that on PC.

... Ugh, finally get to come home tomorrow evening. I love my family but dang, I've about reached my togetherness limit. X_X

Thankfully I'm the only one in the room right now, so DRAGON QUEST TIME!

Anyways, if I ever figure out how to recreate Fortune Street on MV whenever the Switch version hits, I can probably help out. Gotta see how everything will work out first.
