Now I've got Billy Hatcher stuck in my head. Great game!

Decided now would be the time to get some WiiWare games before Wii Shop Channel shuts down. I knew Wii Shop was clunky but it's even worse than I remembered. You can only add max. 50€ at a time. You have to wait until the software has downloaded before being able to do anything else. You have to turn off the music because it gets irritating when Mario keeps jumping at the coin block for couple of minutes straight for every bigger download. Once the download has finished, you'll be sent back to the main menu instead of the page you were on. There's no quick way to see all games that are available, you have to click through 31 pages of WiiWare titles. I just got a download error and I'm staring at a black screen, seems like it crashed. Great.

EDIT: Had to pull the plug since holding power button didn't work. I guess it's kinda ironic that it happened when downloading a game called And Yet It Moves.

@Late Sounds like the PS Store.

Someone sure hates PS. The only issue I have with the PS Store is how it searches using one letter at a time.

@crimsontadpoles One letter at a time, crashes on legacy systems, or even PS4, fairly long load times, sometimes refuses payment information, cant filter search results, so you get one long list of TV, Movies, DLC, Games, Themes, Avatars, all in-organised.

FAST Racing League looks really good for a WiiWare game. I downloaded the demo to try it out. I knew it would look good, it's Shin'en after all, but it's not even that far from RMX graphically. I was going to skip it since I have RMX and I recently picked up physical copy of Neo as well but the very short demo piqued my interest.

And the Wii Shop Channel also crashed for the second time when I was downloading Contra Rebirth. I'll continue some other day. There are still bunch of games I need to get. I kind of skipped WiiWare completely back in the Wii era. I only got Bomberman Blast, Pokémon Rumble and Cave Story back then.

@Late Not far from Fast RMX? Well that either says the Wii game looked like a 1080p 60fps game, or RMX looks like a Wii game.

I'll have to remember to look at the Wii shop before it closes. I think that shop has Pokemon Snap and Chrono Trigger, and I've never tried those 2 before.

For Chrono Trigger you should just get the DS version instead. o.o

@YummyHappyPills Relatively speaking. I mean it looks very good for a 40MB Wii game.
