No, it's a Plusle I found and caught in the wild on omega ruby. Its been forever since I found a shiny anything. The last time was on diamond that belonged to my niece. In the span of an hour i found a shiny chatot and a shiny Mr mime i nicknamed Mr Lime because it was green.

I don't normally nickname my Pokemon, but I've come across some crazy nicknames. The Boldore that I got in a trade (that obviously evolved) was named Rickrolla. XD
I sent this in via the contact method as well, but I thought I would mention that Mario made a random appearance in today's (Oct 24th, 2017) Hi & Lois comic strip (it runs in newspapers here in the US). A few other famous characters (like Homer Simpson) appear as well.
