I've just listened the English version because I knew only the original one and they made the right choice by keeping the music and translate the lyrics as good as they could.

So good. Used to watch it every afternoon after school.

A lot of memorable theme songs from my childhood have already been listed! Some predate me, but reruns were a thing. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of access to cartoons other than what was on local programming (or special Saturday morning blocks; otherwise I would have missed a ton of Disney stuff). Apologies as a lot of the anime that I've watched was dubbed. 😛

Ones that have been listed: Batman The Animated Series, TMNT, Ghostbusters, DuckTales, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Digimon (The first four seasons; never got to watch Season 5, and Season 6 both subbed and dubbed was kinda disappointing....) and Cardcaptors (Yes, the dub. 😜 ).

Okay, I'm going to completely break the rules for just this one post...

This is the CLOSING song from a PUPPET show, but not only is it an absolutely awesome closing song written and sung by one of rock's greatest artists (Brian May from Queen)... but the show was written & directed by Go Nagai, one of animé's legendary artists (Grendizer, Mazinger, Devilman, Cutey Honey). I give you, STARFLEET!

But when this mighty book was open, their powers were set FREE! (Edit: Just now caught the typo in this sentence....My mobile phone hates me.)

...Y'know, besides some of the weird censorship that goes on (I remember being confused by the whole "donut" thing in the Pokemon dub; I kinda knew they were rice balls), I don't think most dubs are that bad. In fact, from what little I've seen of both Naruto subbed and dubbed (still not a fan of the series), I prefer his dubbed voice actor.

I never got to play Gargoyles on the MD (until I got into ROMs hehe), but I've Batman and I've got the Special (and definitive IMO) edition of Earthworm Jim on PC. It has a level select menu and a few extra levels.

@shaneoh Beast Wars superior to G1? How dare you sir!! Beast Wars was nearly cancelled until they started adding G1 lore into the show which helped revive the ratings. Lets count the number of movies Optimus Primal has appeared in...

M.A.S.K theme tune is really cartchy. Also, cartoons from the 80's were way more action packed compared to the stuff on tv nowadays.
