just finished the comic books, pretty decent series. i liked vol. 4 the most. i enjoyed the following books, but they werent as good as the 4th. climax was pretty good. i liked the style of the comical layout (video game themed). anyways, what are your thoughts on the book? movie? xbox download game? you know the drill.

I am a huge Scott Pilgrim fan! I have all books, the movie, and the game! And I love all of them! I'm even starting to recollect the books because they have been rereleased in full color! I feel like a big nerd right now just bragging about it! XD

Not as good as the book, but its still hilarious and I just love the art style implemented into it making it seem like real life and a video game at the same time.

I love Scott Pilgrim. From the books to the game. Really, "love" is an understatement. Everything about the franchise is fantastic. The books are hilarious, have lovable characters, and great art. The movie was one of the best I've seen in a while. It won't win any awards, but it was incredibly funny, good acting, great effects, and faithful to the books. I've seen it 7+ times and highly recommended it to everyone! The game oooohh! Don't get me started on the game! Fantastic sprite work, phenomenal music, fun gameplay, great multiplayer, and awesome bosses. It is so so so close to perfection I can't believe it.
Bryan Lee O'Malley if you ever see this for some weird reason; I can never thank you enough for such a fun series of books.

I love the Scott Pilgrim series.
Before I came to NLife, I used to be part of the official Ning (scottpilgrim.ning.com). It was a pretty awesome place, since the creator, BLOM, would interact with the fans and stuff. I also remember that you could've payed money to be in the last book. I really regret not doing this, though, it's pretty neat seeing all of the other Ning people in the book. Oh, yeah, and the assistant artist (Aaron Ancheta) drew this for me once, which was pretty awesome.

I got into the book series a few months ago, but never finished... I still need to read volumes 4-6.
I actually preferred the movie. I fell in love with the actors that played Scott, Ramona and Wallace, they are all so cute Watched it so many times...
Can't play the game since I do not have a Xbox or PS3. Too bad, neh? Looks real cool, too.

Say what now?

I've only seen the movie but it's among the most nerd pandering things I've ever seen...that's actually worked. I do plan on getting the books and probably the game at some point since they're clearly awesome too.

if you have plans for the books, get the colored versions. i've read all the non-colored versions. they're excellent, but some of the characters dye their hair so often it's hard to keep track. there are even jokes about the absence of color.

I loved the books...

...apart from the final one, which I genuinely thought was bungled garbage. Oh well, the others are great. Haven't checked out the color ones yet...I'll pick it up eventually just to have, but I loved the black and white look of the originals. I agree that it's sometimes hard to keep track of the characters, but that just made me re-read them more and more, which really helped me to soak in how much love went into every panel.

I used to love the series, but when i think about it, i see it as a normal comic book bith a pseudojapanese style for teenagers and shut-in otakus that say they know about american comics. Movie wal alright (MIchael Cera was horrible), but it doesnt deserve all the praide they've got... Story is boring but the thing of the evil exes make it look more interesting than originally is.

I wont say i loved it, but i dont hate it. I think the slice of life parts are great, but that was lost in the last volumes.

I love the all 6 books, I don't think vol. 3 was quite as good as the others though but its still a great book. I've read them about 7 times and highly enjoyed them every time. They're full of so much charm and they have a fantastic cast of characters. As for the movie, it was okay but I don't really feel like watching it again. It wasn't as faithful to the books as I would have liked which isn't surprising seeing as they tried to cram all 6 books into one film. When my older sister went to see it with a friend she enjoyed it much more than I did and hadn't read any of the books but I know that there are some fans who thought the film was a good representation of the books but I think it could have been a better representation of the books than it was. The game looks fantastic though and it looks much more faithful to the books than the film was. I would love it if it was released on the 3DS or Wii U eshop but unfortunately that seems unlikely. I've also heard some of the music in from the game and it has an awesome soundtrack!

anamanaguchi is the group of individuals who made the music for the game. pretty fockin(<--intentional misspelling ) good music.

i never got around to watching the movie, to be honest. i'm planning on doing so this weekend. i'm currently playing the download game on xbox. my great-great-great grandkids can't beat the bus level, but i handled it for them. i've got a separate xbox profile for myself.

recently helped my wife cook the vegan shepherd's pie in le kitchen. tasted horrible. not much was expected.

Loved the books, loved the movie, loved the game as well.

I got a chance to pick up the colored "Evil Edition" of the first book in San Diego back in July. Got to meet Bryan Lee O'Malley while I was there too, and had him sign the book. 'Twas a good day.
