always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
Amazon, for the most part. GameCrazy used to get a lot of my business too, back when GameCrazy was still a thing.
Yeah I use to go GameCrazy all the time too. Not only where they closer to me then Gamestop but their staff was alot more friendly and more knowledgeable than the idiots that Gamestop hires. They seemed to have better sales too. Its a shame that they went out of business.
Anyway with that said onto the next question.
Question #458: Have you ever bought a game digital or physical that you were hyped about only to be disappointed after playing it?
Yes I have. The one the two games that come to mind for me are Star Wars the Force Unleashed II and Warioland: Super Marioland 3.
With Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II I really enjoyed the first one. I thought it was one of if not the best games on the Wii. The motion control was perfect the story was great so natural when they announced the second one I was excited about. However after getting it yeah... They no longer had the motion controls the story was dull and it just felt like a cash in on the first ones success.
As for Warioland, I am probably going to get hate on this one but I just felt it bland and boring. For some reason I just didnt enjoy it as much as the Marioland games. I never played it on the Gameboy so I got it the moment it was available on the 3DS VC mainly cause of all they hype I heard about this game. This is where I wish I could trade in digital games like I can physical games. Now it just sits taking up space on my 3DS.

-pokemon dash - good to pass time, lame after a few minutes, destroys any touchscreen....
-liberation maiden - no left handed controls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

I don't remember if I had hype for it, but Dillion's wild rolling western is a good example of paying over 10 bucks for a game I can't beat the second level and I have no interest in playing it again.
Paper Mario Sticker star. i knew it wasnt gonna be as good as the others because of lack of partners, unique attacks, etc, but i played it, and i was like "dafuq am i playing" Yeah i completed it, but i sure wasnt happy
NO STORY AT ALL. so bland, just so, so, so ,so ,so, so (you get the point), so so, bland.
real Italian meatballs are made by real Italian meatball men.
Ocarina of Time (Have mercy!), Majora's Mask, Mario 3D Land, Mario 64, Final Fantasy XIII (Biggest one). (Just my opinions, doods!)
Say it ain't so!

Once or twice. The Original Devil May Cry was disappointing...but that was partly because I played DMC3 and 4 beforehand...
Then there's the big one: Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Good gods that games thoroughly terrible. I still hate Jeremy Dunham from IGN for overselling that game to me and so many others. Reading the review again, I can't even tell if we were even playing the same game.
Otherwise a lot of games disappoint me when I set the bar low already...weird how that happens....
I think when this happens I mentally block it out or something so I won't be sad over the money I wasted, because I'm having a tough time thinking of one off the top of my head.
Oh.
Shantae: Risky's Revenge! I hated it, (Geez, I know I'm gonna get heat for this.)
I like to think I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to games, but Kingdom Hearts. On paper, it seemed like exactly my thing and the reviews were so good!
But it just didn't click with me for some reason, no idea why. To this day I've kept it, reluctant to sell it in case I "get" it after all.
Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution: I thought this game would be good, it was the latest Ready 2 Rumble game since Round 2, but when I played the game, it was too late, I was disappointed too even give a second chance.
Animal Crossing: City Folk: I thought city folk would be good, population growing and wild world were great and I loved them, played both for hours........days.......weeks........months...........years...........however city folk, was just wild world, but with improved graphics, also the city part was lackluster. New Leaf then came by and is now my favorite Animal Crossing game, as for city folk, it was too late, I was disappointed too even give a second chance.
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
