@Mickey That's really awesome! I used to do karate, but my parents pulled me out because A) complete lack of physical fitness B) my absurdly violent nature and really short temper.

@Varia01 Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! I'm not really a religious person, mainly because I've been locked up for the longest time to focus on studies and education, but it sounds like it's more about the community than anything.

Today I am terribly sleep-deprived, feeling super jittery on a Steroid DosePak for my migraines, fighting off a migraine, overcooked a delicious Ribeye, my acupuncturist put pins in my ears, hands, legs, and head, but...I'm making good progress in DKCR3D. So I got that goin' for me. Might go to the drive-in tonight with my wife who makes me the luckiest man alive by virtue of having the privilege of being her husband. If only we could bring our cat!

@Varia01 and @Mickey, thanks guys! I don't know if either of you have ever been gone to a drive-in movie theater but they are a big passion of mine. My wife and I have a season pass to the one here in Colchester, VT, so we try to go as often as possible, weather permitting. It's great to be able to control the volume (I typed "noise level" at first--proof of my sleep-deprived state), the snack bar is fun, you don't have to worry about people talking or texting, and the screen is HUGE!

@Mickey, have you gotten to play DKCR3D? It's awesome.

@Nobodys_Angel, how are your headaches doing? Congrats on Driver's Ed!

@maxcriden Well first I'd have to buy a 3DS which probably won't happen anytime soon. Mostly because there are too many Wii U games that I want.

PS: Do you have a Wii U yet?

@Mickey, nope, no Wii U yet! But I am very eager to purchase one. At the moment my hope is to get one in a month or so when Rayman Legends comes out. Rayman Origins is probably my favorite game of all time. My wife and I trade off levels and we have just one Perfect left to get and we will have 100%'d the game. I'm hoping we'll have that done by the time RL comes out. I think that should be pretty doable. I'm also really looking forward to playing NSMBU and Nintendo Land. I am also open to Pikmin 3 and W101, not sure yet if those will be up my alley. Not interested in Wind Waker HD as I have played the original fairly recently. Great, great game though. DK and Mario I'm excited about. Smash Bros. and MK8 aren't really my kind of thing.

3DS-wise, I cannot recommend the system enough once you do eventually get one. There have been so many amazing games so far, like Mario 3D Land, Luigi's Mansion, and DKCR (BTW, have you played the Wii version? It's great, too). I'm extremely excited for Dream Team in just a few weeks.

@maxcriden Its a shame you don't have one, I was looking forward to adding you! (Then again, you're probably thinking the same thing from the 3DS side.) Yes, I rented DKCR Wii awhile ago. It was good.

Look, though I adore the extra attention, we need to stop before we derail this thread any more than we already have.

This was actually yesterday, but I didn't have the time to type it in then...

We went to a surprise birthday party for my aunt, and had a wonderful time. Spent time with family, played billiards with my brother, cousin, & one of his friends, and they had great food (the meaty cheese dip, and the pinwheel wraps were my personal favorite).

We also stopped by Sonic to get half priced shakes on the way home (I got a chocolate creme pie flavor).

@RR529, that's awesome. I love Sonic and have not been there in a long while. The frito wrap was always a fave, as well as the chicken club. They have great drinks there, too. (BTW, I added you as a 3DS Friend if that's OK.)
