I'll be buying Super Mario 3D World, my brother will be buying Mario Party: Island Tour, and I'll eventually pick up Zelda 3DS, probably after the holidays.
Also, ya, I will be getting an Xbox One eventually.
Considering I live in Australia, on November 22nd I'll be getting... nothing.
It's a Friday so it'll most likely be me at home recovering from Monster Hunter Thursday, then maybe heading to the ALBW midnight launch if I feel like going.
Then another week's wait till 3D World.
On the subject of Xbox One. What if you showed up to an Xbox One midnight launch with the intention of buying Super Mario 3D World and/or Zelda 3DS?
Nothing much. Probably just get laughed at by a bunch of Xbots because you're not "hardcore".

November 22nd has to be this year's most significant day for gaming. Super Mario 3D World, Legend of Zelda ALBW, Mario Party Island Tour, and Tearaway all in one day! Then there's Xbox One, which I don't care for really...
Games I'm playing currently: Legend of Zelda: A Link Betweeen Worlds, Tearaway
Games I'm excited for: Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8
3DS Friend Code: 1719-3467-7677
Nintendo Network ID: SupaSamiStar14

Tearawyay comes out on November 22nd, too???????? Oh...man... The sales for that game prolly won't be that high sadly..... It needs its own date.

I'm guessing you'd walk away empty handed. Unless I'm mistaken neither of those titles has a midnight launch planned at retailers.
Well technically it would be November 22nd. So I think that if you complained enough they would give them to you regardless if they haven't put them on the shelves yet.
I really don't understand this black friday thing. (We have no such thing here in the Netherlands) Is it a holiday on it's own or is it just a day before the holidays that everyone hits the stores and get everything for these holidays?
And for the date, next Friday, I'll be getting Zelda since Super Mario 3D World will be released a week later here in Europe.
It's not an official holiday or anything.
It's the day after Thankgiving (U.S.), when all the retailers have all sorts of crazy deals on a very limited amount of hot items. Dozens, if not hundreds, of people swarm into the stores (sometimes hurting each other in the rush), trying to be first in line to get the deal.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Man I wish I didn't have to wait till the 29th November to play SM3DW at least I can potential get LOZALBW on the 22nd (but will probably wait till Christmas).
It is such an important day for me, that I actually will take the day off at my job. No kidding.
I plan to download Super Mario 3D World and order A Link Between Worlds as a physical copy, along with another game I have not yet decided. But it definitely won't be Mario Party.
Tearaway looks nice but I don't have a Vita, and regarding Xbone I want to see reactions and reviews first. Still I would not buy any of these consoles at least in a year or two.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
Zelda for sure, and I'll probably pick up Mario 3D world sometime down the road. I wouldn't touch Mario Party even if they were giving it away for free.
I don't see how Nintendo thinks this is a good idea. One of these is guaranteed to do terrible now. cough*marioparty*cough
I disagree, I think there's a strong possibility that many parents will choose Mario Party over Zelda for Christmas. Don't underestimate the selling power of family games. It won't come close to Zelda's sales numbers, but in the long run, I don't believe it will suffer from having the same release date.
