Topic: November 22nd

Is anyone else as excited for November 22nd as I am?! Super Mario 3D World, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds & Mario Party: Island Tour will all be released next Friday. I'll be buying all 3, although who knows which game I'll start off with first. Anyone else buying all 3 games?

A Link Between Worlds will sell the most, Super Mario 3D World will give the Wii U a great boost and Mario Party will be bought by many kids. Its gonna be a good day for Nintendo.

Getting Super Mario 3D World once midnight strikes on the 22nd, and getting that Zelda 3DS XL hopefully on the same day, idk about Mario Party yet though~

It's also no coincidence that Nintendo's two biggest series are releasing new games the same day that this monstrosity comes out. :3

Hopefully Mario Party, 3D World is an obviously must, but I don't have a Wii U yet. And ALBW can wait.

I don't feel the Xbox One is as bad as people are making out to be to be honest. At least it's coming out with a fair few games, and some announced for the future as well.

I'm getting all 3 games but I can't play Super Mario 3d World until Christmas.

Zelda for sure, and I'll probably pick up Mario 3D world sometime down the road. I wouldn't touch Mario Party even if they were giving it away for free.

A Link Between Worlds is a day-one for me.

I'm not seeing any must-play exclusives on it. It's DVR that plays 3rd party games. And costs $100 more than the nearest competition. Yippee.

And the interface is still as ugly now as it was a couple years ago when they called it Windows 8.

Yet the Xbox One has more first party games than the Wii U did its first year. So what do you call the Wii U, which also had TV functions.

At the end of the day it should always be about the games. (I will admit I think Microsoft fooled up with the $500 price tag, I feel if they would have came in at $400 they would probably be frontrunner right now).

All that did was make realize how many Mario games have been relased in the past two years.

Well November 22 is MY birthday so I am hopping I'll get A Link Between World's and I'll probably use some of my birthday money to get Super Mario 3D World, but not until December because I'll be going on a trip that weekend for Thanksgiving so no Wii U access. Mario Party doesn't really interest me all that much, but maybe next year if gets decent ratings. I'll also probably be getting a Dreamcast which will look lovely next to my Wii U (should be enough console gaming action for the 8th Gen.) checking Ebay now for deals, but man there is a ton of inventory, but it goes quick!!!!!!! Keep missing bundles I'd love to my hands on!!

Disappointing. Frustrating. Squandered potential.

Though come March 2014, I think Wii U will have the more attractive exclusive software line-up of the two. Forza is fun (though not impressed with the "we know the last game had 2.5x as much content, but this one will have regular DLC!" platform), but I'm really not too keen on the mountain of washed-out brown and gray FPS games or EA Sports's yearly pile of anti-consumer crap.

A lot of the games also suffer from either already being out on 360 or looking like they may as well have been on the 360. More realistic physics for blades of glass or beads of sweat don't really impress me.

Already got LBW preordered, but 3D World can wait til Christmas. Also it's more expensive so I'd rather wait to get it for free from my parents. Not really interested in Mario Party...

I actually thought this thread was going to be about this! lol. But yeah, my birthday is coming up very soon so hopefully I can snag Mario 3D World and A Link Between Worlds for Christmas. They both look really great games!!

Well, to be honest, a lot of stuff is coming out on November 22nd.
