This is hard, but I'm voting for Sgt. Frog. It's the first show to make me genuinely laugh out loud since Futurama.

I want to say Angel Beats because it's a spinoff of Outlaw Star (correct me if I'm wrong, I might be thinking of something called Angel Links?), but as I haven't seen either, I'm going to have to pass.

I haven't seen either but I don't really think Sgt. frog looks that good, I may give it a try though but Angel beats looks amazing!

You really have to try it. It's hilarious, had me in stitches every time I watched it, even episodes I saw before. Very few anime can do that to me. Angel Beats is great, too, but it's just too damn short. Needed twice as many episodes as it got. If there was any show I wanted remade to tell the story the way it was intended (that wasn't Gundam F91), it would be Angel Beats.

No, one of the reasons that I haven't is that it would look really small compared to many other users on the site, especially with download as I'm very slow with getting downloadable games (both retro and original) so with the many times that I've said that I'll get a downloadable game, most of the games I've said that for, I still don't have. If I did make one soon, I'm not sure if I'd be able to get it done this week as I'm starting to get more college work but I might be able to if I try to find the time to.

I'm definitely voting for The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. That fantastic anime is my second favourite anime! I haven't seen The cat returns but it looks pretty good.

I love the Haruhi series. Voting for it easily.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The dull and seemingly endless Endless Eight arc aside, Haruhi largely kept me interested and entertained throughout, and I especially enjoyed the dynamic between the two lead characters. The Cat Returns is, to me, the closest Ghibli has come to making a mediocre film.

And I just realized none of Satoshi Kon's movies made it past the nomination process. Bummer. I recommend them all, they're quite good!

While I do like some of Studio Ghibli's work, my vote goes for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It is my number 1 favorite anime.

I actually loved Endless Eight. I mean, 2 of the most boring versions of it aside, it was at least interesting and different and the series greatness helped avoid it being as bad as it could have been (not to mention the self-parodying in the last 2 versions made me laugh hard). But the main reason is because of the internet. People on the internet often were just hilariously (intentionally or otherwise) mad at this and there were countless fun youtube videos. So, at the very least, it deserves credit for making the internet more interesting for a few weeks. That being said, I am certain outside of the hilarious ending (SUPER HEROIC MUSIC!!!) I'm probably never watching it again.
