Did you ever see the OVAs that went with it? I think they were called Greed Island or something like that. I remember some of my friends going on about how good those were, especially the animation.

Cardcaptor Sakura for me, too. While I never really liked it, at least I don't hate it, like I hate Nausicaa. That movie preached it's "Human's are bad, nature is good" drivel so loud it was impossible to ignore. I freakin' hate preachy shows.

I think it's the only anime (with more than 30 episodes) I have ever watched from front to end.

Cardcaptor Sakura. I tried watching Nausicaa during Miyazaki month and I couldn't. I think it was blatantly like Princess Mononoke except worse or something.

I'm again going to vote against the grain, and vote Nausica, lol.

Sure, it's uber environmentalist message was laid on a little too thick, but I still ended up enjoying it. Never got into Cardcaptor Sakura because I thought it was too girly (hey, I was about 12 or 13 when I last saw it), lol.

Oh no! Don't make me pick between those two... oh well. I love CCS, but I´ll go with Nausicaa. True the story is not amazing (even though I agree humans suck ), but the animations, the designs and the freaking MUSIC. And I would kill for a baby Ohmu. /)^3^(I

I know I don't come here often, well this is my first time... but I LOVE CARD CAPTOR SAKURA!!!!!!

Nausicaa. The first Ghibli movie I saw, and a magical experience.

Also not entirely sure how people think it's a "humans are bad, nature is good" movie. It's a movie that looks at the tension between the two, sure, but it's hardly preaching. There's a lot of sympathy in it for the humans.

Only people who don't know much about anime overrate Naruto, everyone overrates Fooly cooly.

I'm voting for Card captor Sakura. I haven't seen the latter and I was never really into CCS but its still a good show.

Gonna have to go with Nausicaa here.
