@RR529 they are demons not dolls. I question if you have even seen zatch bell, if you don't know that.
I saw a few episodes and just couldn't get into it. I don't care what they're called, the things looked like puppets. Just can't take that seriously. I probably got "Doll" from Bleach's bounts (they fought using Dolls, which reminded me of Zatch Bell).

PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I think that's more your problem, though. Zatch Bell isn't a very serious show, so I don't see why them fighting with what look like puppets should be a point against it. If anything, it should just help to establish that you shouldn't be taking it seriously.
Really, you've knocked down a lot of shows because they were not serious shows that put effort into making sure you don't take it seriously, yet you praise G-Gundam for being a show that didn't take itself seriously (which is still incorrect, btw, it played it straight almost the entire show).

I'm not trying to say Zatch Bell is a bad show, it's just that I prefer when an anime makes it look like all of this fantastic stuff is happening in the real world (or it's world has a realistic air about it, a la FMA: Brotherhood). An example would be Rurouni Kenshin. The characters are all using these fantastic & stylized sword techniques that obviously wouldn't be possible in real life, but it's set in a very down to Earth world, where the story revolves around real historical events (in this case, the Meiji Revolution). It takes those more fantasy concepts, and blends them into a real world scenario. That's what I personally like about anime. When it comes to Zatch Bell, or Gurren Lagaan, they're good shows, but their more fantastic elements were a little too strong to make everything seem believable, IMO.
As for G Gundam (heck, and even Dragon Ball), I guess I'm just a sucker for martial arts, no matter if it's cheesy, lol. Sorry, I wasn't trying to start any arguments or anything. I guess what I look for in an anime is just a little different than most, lol.

Oh, I remember I went through a phase like that. Glad it didn't last long, though, there weren't many shows like that, for better or for worse. All I could find were Mobile Suit Gundam (Which you should really give another shot, since it's as believeable as Sci-fi mecha get, second only to Patlabor), Rurouni Kenshin, and the first few episodes of Berserk before everything goes all crazy. I still got a few fantasy anime from that phase to go through, though.
I know the world renown martial art Shaq Foo
was TheKungFuMaster got demoted to Batchu then evolve to MercifulLemon7
I come back and make my mark and dispear again.
I'd vote for Zatch Bell because I tuned into Toonami every Saturday to watch it while it was still on. Yeah it was stupid at times, but it was a fun show while it was on, and I enjoyed it.
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
BTW, just so everyone knows, regardless of whether or not I'm there to declare it, the round will be over at that time. The bracket is on the first page for everyone to see. I go in order. Feel free to start voting on the next round without me if I'm late next time.
