I've never seen Totoro, but it's very unwise to discount a Miyazaki film just because I haven't seen it. Despite that, I love Big O, and am sad that it never got a larger following.

I'm going to vote Big O (even though the second season co-produced by Adult Swim isn't nearly in the same league as the first).

Co-Produced? From what I heard, we're lucky it even got a second season. It was supposed to be 3 seasons, but they shortened it to 2.

I haven't seen either but the style of Big O doesn't really look like anime to me. It looks like it could have been a western show. and the characters don't seem that expressive.

It's meant to be a homage to Dick Tracy and Batman. I don't know what you mean about expressive, though. Sure they're not anime-weird, but they still show emotion adequetly.

I prefer it's whimsical feeling, Totoro is just so adorable, and I never really got into Big O.

I'm glad Ghibli's movies made it, since I forgot to nominate them.

Zatch Bell. Only the English version is kiddy. The japanese version (Gash Bell) is far more mature. I mean it has a 3 minute song dedicated to groping breast.

I watched a little of the Zatch Bell anime, and I considered it fun to watch when I got the chance.
My public library doesn't have any recent Naruto manga, so I started reading the manga for Zatch Bell. Kiyo can't cook, lol. Just finished the 3rd volume 5 minutes ago.
Also, WOW! this has 14 pages already? That's firgging awesome.
Sigh... guess no one on NL likes cartoons... D:
