Superman: Why don't you refresh my memory?

Batman: (Long Pause)

The only reason I didn't tell everyone the moment we both arrived on the ship to open fire as I stab the Kryptonite into your back is you are better off as my ally than enemy. I would rather keep my eyes on you than watching my back.

Superman: ... So am I correct in assuming that you don't approve of me working for him?

Batman: If I have to spell it out for you Clark, then yes. I don't like it, you are a threat to the entire universe with while you work with Dr. Finitevus. That is why I haven't told anyone about your "activities". Someone has to keep you in track, thats why you gave this to me.

Batman taps the exact socket on his utility belt that houses the Kryptonite three times, right as he says "this to me".

Superman: You know I wouldn't do something that would force you to use that. I gave that to you incase of mind-control and/or me turning evil. Finitevus doesn't have me under his control and I think I've made it clear I won't turn evil. There is nothing to worry about.

Batman: If the tables were turned, your telling me you wouldn't be concerned if I allied myself with an enemy and were as strong as you were?

Ristar is biting his finger nails, Ristar"I really need to get more sleep...... stupid limitations"

Superman: I'd be concerned if you hadn't previously shown me that you wouldn't go too far. I chose not to torture you, remember? I'm not just going to blindly accept every order the doctor gives me and neither would you. So yes. I wouldn't be concerned.

Capricorn: Hey, I've been wondering...

Morpheus: Hmm?

Capricorn: Who do you think is behind all this?

Morpheus: Probably that Finitevus guy or something...

Capricorn: You sound so nonchalant right now.

Morpheus: Maybe.

Capricorn: Plus, we still don't know who attacked the ship.

Morpheus: Could've been anyone.

Capricorn forcefully turns Morpheus' chair around.

Capricorn: Do you ever really care?

Morpheus: It depends.

Capricorn: ...on what?

Morpheus: ...on who.

Batman: Then your a fool.

With that, Batman exits the room, glances back at Minnie and heads to the storage bay where Batman has set up a temporary Bat-Cave.

Superman held in his anger until Batman left the room and, when he finally left, he punched the wall. Waking up Minnie.

Minnie: gasp What's going on?

Superman: sigh Nothing, Minnie. Jus-Just go back to sleep.

Minnie: If you say so...

Minnie fell back to sleep. Superman was angry. He thought he and Batman had become close enough friends that Batman could learn to trust him but, evidently, it wasn't so. He felt that he could never feel like a real friend to Bruce as long as he kept this paranoid attitude. Superman decided to take a walk around the ship to gather his thoughts and, hopefully, regain rational thought so that, the next time he'd see Batman, he wouldn't punt his head into space.

Ristar then see's Superman walking around the ship, Ristar"(Looks like something is troubling Superman)"

Mario: Hey, Superman! Are you ok?

Ristar"Yeah Superman, are you alright?"

Superman: Mario? Ristar? Nothing. Batman's just been acting... difficult lately.

Mallow: How exactly, "difficult"?

Morpheus: Siding with the "enemy" difficult.

Before anyone could react, Morpheus adds:

Morpheus: This ship has cameras.

Caprcorn: I've been wanting to talk to you about that. Can you erase the footage from that one night... You know, when my Predators came on board.

Morpheus: Why? It's excellent material.

Capricorn: You...

Superman: Morpheus! You startled me!

Mario: Well don't let him get you down, after all, you have us!

Batman: Hold it!
