In this forum game relying on teamwork with your potential enemies, the various members of Nintendo Life compete against each other for survival in this competition, and are placed onto randomly generated and hidden teams. Nobobdy except for me will know who is on what team... and it is up to the players to figure out who is on what team. The last team left standing wins. The twist comes in that you are unaware of who is on your team... so you may inevitably eliminate one of your teammates! So tread carefully, players... you could be on a team with anyone from @LordJumpMad to @ogo7 ... :o Please note, this is a game which does not require much activity, but does require you to check in, preferrably once a day if possible. If you can only go on NL once a week, this is not the game for you. If you are worried about occasionally missing a deadline, don't worry, it won't have any consequence unless you miss multiple deadlines. I'm fairly lenient on activity, but don't push it or you will be kicked off. The Schedule Basically, every 5 days or so a new cycle will begin. Cycles are broken down into different days, where the players can do different things. Here is an overview of each of the days. Occasionally extensions will be given, especially over some weekends where I may be away. Days 1-2: Players can strategize with each other. Every player gets one guess as to who is on their team. You only have these two days to make a decision, at the end of which every guess will be revealed as True or False. If a player fails to make a guess, it is their loss. This is the 'downtime' for sme, but is very important to success and is not to be overlooked. You may guess players twice if they are not on your team, but you may not guess a known teammate. Days 3-4: Based on the number of correctly guessed teammates, players will be presented with special 'powers' which they get to use that week. If you guess a non-teammate in Days 1-2, you get one elimination vote. This will be explained below. If you guess a teammate correctly for the first time, you are safe for the week, but get no vote on who to eliminate. If you guess a second teammate correctly, having guessed one in a previous week, you get a vote to eliminate, as well as a free pass for the week. Day 5: Votes are tallied up, and one player is eliminated. A random pair of teammates will be revealed. These teammates cannot guess each other any more on days 1-2. The eliminated player can vote on one person to save the next week. They may also choose a user to recieve a second guess of who their teammates are. Then, the cycle goes back to Day 1. This all occurs in real time, offering plenty of time for posting. No exceptions will be made, except a substitute can be applied for an inactive player. Voting Most players every week will get a vote to eliminate another player. You simply post who you choose to eliminate within the days, and at the end the vote will be tallied. This is where any strategy comes into play, you may choose to eliminate someone who isn't a teammate, you may have alliances with individuals or groups... the game can be taken in any direction. Twists There can and will be some minor twists throughout the game, though not every week or in the first 2 weeks at least. The teams will not be changed in any twist, and twists will be largely random. Best of luck to all players! If you would like to sigup, please quote the signup sheet below and add your name.
