Topic: Need advice from anyone who played Golden Sun

I’m at the Colosso part. Can’t get through the first battle of the final round. Opponent seems to have at least 3 nuts and kept healing himself.Isaac is level 20. Does it help at all if I level up a few levels? I even set to one of the Djinns that gave me healing ability but in the middle of the battle it switches to a different one and my healing option just disappeared. The opponent won’t go down despite getting hit with at least 86 HP damage and kept healing himself! To be honest I don’t even want to do the tournament at all at this point. I don’t suppose there’s any way to skip this altogether? I would appreciate any feedback.

Ok I used curse on opponent for round 1 and won. Yes it’s cheap but the way I see it the opponent constantly using heal is just as bad. They really should have made the tournament optional instead of mandatory.
