Rarity should design dresses for Filly Gaga! btw, the ponies are funnier than maybe any comedian out there. And I've laughed more the first few episodes than I have the last several comedy films I've seen! Rest of the world needs to be about 100% funnier! La lala lala...
My most recent episodes watched were "Feeling Pinkie Keen" and "Sonic Rainboom", and good Heavens, how good can it get? "Feeling Pinkie Keen" was like a Looney Toons episode on speed, dialog that just cracks your stuff up... Total win from beginning to end! If you know the plot centers around Pinkie Pie, you know it's going to be something you remember for the rest of your life! Pinkius Pieikus... what a rare breed! (OMG, Twilight... and I used to think Wile E. Coyote took a beating) And to follow it up with "Sonic Rainboom"...
What more can you ask for in an episode? Rainbow Dash doing the Superman/Neo thing (and getting thrown/slamming into things and ponies), Twilight doing "crazy" things with her eyes, Rarity getting a fabulous set of wings and making a complete hindquarters out of herself... We get Rainbow Dash flying music that sounds like it's almost straight from F-Zero X (appropriate, actually), an Icarus reference (not Kid Icarus, but still...). And through all that awesomeness, Fluttershy stole the show with one word...
Fluttershy could melt a heart of stone, she's so adorable! Anyone unable to be touched by her must be a ReDead! I just adore her so! Oh and after this, I can just hear Guile: Sonic... RAINBOOM!!! I tell ya. I'd rather watch this than "House" now, and that's saying something since it has been my favorite show!

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

You don't look like anypony I've ever seen in Equestria! Do you come from the Everfree Forest? You look like some of the creatures there, yet have pony-like qualities! Doesn't matter. I still love you unconditionally and want to be your friend!
@zez You need Twilight to cast a spell on you to take away the nightmares and give you wonderful dreams filled with nice animals like the ones Fluttershy takes care of! Maybe without the snakes... Even though we still love them!
All the children try to run, To him its part of the fun. His branching arms are for collecting, His face is empty of expressing. He sometimes hums a lowly drone, He will wander 'round your home. Dressed in darkest suit and tie, He won't let you say goodbye.
Just a commentary on something. I'll make it brief, as it's rather unpleasant. In regards to the term "dog & pony show". After the recent events in Washington, that term should be banned from use anywhere in the world, in any language. It's an insult of the worst kind comparing any pony, canine or any other creature to the hindquartersclowns, ahem, "representing" (and I use that term with utmost looseness) us in the US. I wouldn't even degrade parasprites by comparing them to politicians (although it kind of fits since, like parasprites, they eat/destroy all in their paths). No cutie marks for them. Just numerous hooves to their hindquarters... HARD! That is all. Back to something worth discussing: PONIES!
amazing how much funnier things can get with a few censor bleeps.

Lots of pony goodness tonigh, bronies! Devious-looking Pinkie Pie, NES music-PONY STYLE, Stephen Colbert a brony (Colbert for Prez!), ever stylish Hoity Toity and bleeped ponies (yes, bleeping does make stuff funnier... can just see Pinkie Pie having that condition where you randomly swear LOL).
Here's a Fluttershy compilation to add to it, squee!!! A feed of this or comparable collection of Fluttershy adorableness should be sent to every TV, computer and anything with a screen, with no ability to turn it off. The end of all wars & poverty, world peace and the naming of Fluttershy as Supreme Empress of the World would ensue... If that's ok, of course! Fluttershy, you rock woohoo! <3
btw, everypony pray for me. It's supposed to be 115 degrees or more here tomorrow... Likely to set the record for the hottest temperature ever recorded in the city of Tulsa (and may not be far behind the all-time Oklahoma record of 120 degrees). I don't want to melt! I still have 7 episodes of season 1 left to see!!!
another btw, I had the funniest idea earlier, "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" fans. Imagine the scene with Lucas Lee doing "a grind, bro". Now, take the cut aways to Scott going "wow" replaced with Fluttershy going "yay"! The last yay cut off to be "ya...", then Fluttershy wincing with a squeak when he crashes! "Too loud"? LOL! Rainbow Dash's first Sonic Rainboom fail reminds me of that scene!
Just watched the first two episodes, giving it a chance as many have suggested. If these two are considered weaker episodes, color me impressed. I saw a show taking all the cutesy conventions of the genre and turning them on their head, with strong, hilarious characters. I've been exposed to a fair number of shows like this since I have three daughters, but this is the first one I've seen that toned down the syrup and added in the same kind of humor that had me staying near the TV when my girls would watch shows like Fairly Oddparents.
Now, if I can just convince my five-year-old of the following truth: Strawberry Shortcake bad, Ponies awesome.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

I love hearing things like this. It's awesome that you actually have kids to expose the show to. They can develop their own nostalgic ideas about what an awesome cartoon is, rather than us older viewers merely looking back on them. Good luck convincing them to watch the show!
Oh, and if they liked The Fairly Oddparents, just tell them that the voice actor for Twilight is the same as Timmy Turner. That might work...
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon! Cipher Trailer
