Ugh... I thought that people were mostly past that perception from the 80's, but I guess not yet. Though... being from the 80's, the commercial still has that era quirkiness I like.

@Rocko52 I know it's a ways back now, but I want to apologize for stating it again. It wasn't my intention to make you feel that I was getting on your case. I just have this tendency to parrot some things is all.

@TeeJay Huzzah! Glad your getting your blog back a little bit now. And your pics look pretty good. Though I agree with you; the last pic looks a little awkward, but practice makes perfect! Keep up the good work, and I hope you can still do your art going forward.

Speaking of Blaze, I'm changing his cutie mark. I've already designed it, so you guys will see it on Monday (if you care, lol). His special talent will change too. I mean, who would have GAMING as their destiny? No. His special talent will be having the strength of a "Blazing" fire and versatility and adaptibility of water (Torrent). Gaming will still be a hobby but he's supposed to be athletic so this will make more sense.

Twilight picks herself back up slowly. "Sorry." The background pony picked herself off, gives a huh and began chasing her pages around the station. "Umm, right, I should Luna. Here, I've got a few bits, I'll grab a few tickets. Do you want me to get 2 or..." Twilight looks over at Pinkie and Discord "...would you like 4?"

Luna nodes to Twilight, "Yes, 2 shall do. We need to..." Luna was cut off by Twilight's sudden announcement of 4 instead. She looks over to Pinkie, who still had her leg wrapped around Discord's tail, and smirks a little at the sight of him still lying there. "Well, I suppose it's best to keep tabs on him, and your friend seems to know how to keep him subdued. Who knows what sort of mischief he could cause if we just leave him here." She looks back to Twilight and nods again, "4 it is then."

Tonight on the ==Fic of The Week== let's have some odd shipping:
Twice as Bright by Cloudy Skies
[On Fimfiction Romance Complete Everyone]
Princess Celestia is content with her life. For Pinkie Pie content is not nearly enough.
I am a fan of Cloudy when it comes to adventure fics but, being honest, I usually don't like his shipping. I started reading this only because PinkieXCelestia is a ship as rare as can be, and, as much as I like a well written Twilestia, I really wish there were more fanfics that ship Celestia with other ponies.
That said, what I found while reading this, was a deeper characterization for both Pinkie Pie and Celestia than I ever expected. You get to see so deep into their feelings and the reasons why they act the way they do, that I really felt happy, and even some butterflies, when they finally got together, it made me smile.
Add the usual high quality of Cloudy's writing, and this becomes a total recommendation.

Okay so here are the two side view shots.

You you all noticed, I have changed Blaze's cutie mark and special talent to better suit his name and athletic build. I think I already explained it in an earlier post, so I won't repeat myself and bore you. But here, have a close up shot.

WARNING: EXTREME BRAIN-MELTING RANDOMNESS

Twilight proceeds to go get the tickets. Returning in time to here the conductor shout, "All Aboard?" Twilight hands him the tickets and picks up Discord with her magic, expecting him out cold and walks onto the train, after asking, "Coming?" To Luna and Pinkie Pie.

The feeling of Twilight picking him up with her magic woke Discord up with a shock to his system, as though he had just gone through a third run through misfortune with his pink pony guide to fun. "Not another pillar, Pinkie! I'm too frail for any more Acme gags!" Eyes shut, Discord began swinging around his limbs wildly in the air as if trying to avoid any more harm done to him. This lasted for a couple of seconds until he slowly began opening his eyes, only to find the surrounding ponies looking at him unimpressed by his presence, except for Pinkie who simply giggled. Still held up in the air by Twilight's magic, he let his limbs relax as he gave out a sigh of relief. "While I appreciate your attempt at assisting me, bookworm, I can manage from here." He snapped his fingers, sweeping away Twilight's magic and replacing it with his own, which slowly lowered him down to the ground. As he touched down, his back began to ached. "...though I could go for a good chair right about now." He turned around to find the train. "Ooo! That's more like it!" He conjured up a stash of "monopony" money, to which he stuck into the pocket of the conductor, giving it a little pat before boarding. "Keep the change my good sir." Still in the entryway, he extended his head out the adjacent window. "Coming girls?"

Seems LittleKuriboh will be watching MLP:FiM tomorrow starting at 9 am PST to some time in the night. I won't have time to see or at least most of it. Should be funny though,

2nd Edit: Since I'm not a fan of double posting I'm just going to edit this post to add it. First of all it is and was NSFW but I found it funny watching a person who never saw the show before warm up to it. There are 4 segments of it up, I'll post them in case anyone wants to look I'll post the links, they are in order and take about 8-9 hours altogether. The breaks are from troubles with the stream, if anyone actually watches, enjoy but again NSFW.
