Topic: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Haven't watched the new episode yet. I'm feeling a wee-little bit feverish, so I'll save it for tomorrow.

Let me see. Oh, I got those "Rainbow Dash Headphones" today. Word of advice: if you see those hideous things, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

So yes, you can deduce I hated them with a burning passion. I'll show a picture tomorrow or something, but here's basically why:

THEY'RE COMPLETELY RAINBOW COLORED, AND FEEL INCREDIBLY CHEAP. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They have the physical constitution of a cheap plastic toy, even worse quality than the actual MLP "dolls." Not only that, but the headphones are flat-ended, meaning your ears aren't "surrounded" by the sound. That's a personal preference, but nonetheless, it's still a terrible item. I can't stress the next part enough, but they're completely rainbow color! Honestly, I would have been just fine if they felt a little less stiff, and were painted in a pleasant hue of light blue. But nooooooo..... It's rainbow dash they said... Ugh... They're so disgustingly girly, even by MLP standards. Quite cheap in quality too. Not worth 30$.

Judging by your comments, I might as well purchase this new episode on iTunes as well. An army of Pinkie Pies: what could possibly go wrong? (Hint: everything.)

Not the best thing in the world, but still fairly decent, right? What do you guys think of it? Is it any good, for the purposes of a Cutie Mark I mean?

So we had a new episode, not bad, but not my favorite I have to say. It did had its funny jokes and PP was awesome as usual, but the fact that the swarm of Pinkies weren't nice nor (at least for me) funny, and basically killed the original Pinkie Pie mood stopped me from enjoying it as much as all the other PP episodes. Add a couple of usual kid shows plot wholes and the ep was ruined for me. I am happy that most people liked it though, it was a decent episode. It just went into the chaotic territory other shows I don't like use.
@RainbowCrasher That stereotyping idea is so true, I thought about it. Shame that with all the sillyness all the deep stuff got a bit lost.

Today on the ==Fic of The Week== an old story, that I started reading on EQD and became one of my all time favorites. Is far too big for an incomplete one, but is worth every word already written.

Epic story is Epic. If the Nintendo guys had read this story they had never dare called Kirby's Epic Yarn, Epic, because they would have finally understood the definition... of Epic.
It starts with a simple premise: "Twilight wakes up with a serious head-ache caused by her horn spontaneously growing due to a sudden increase in her magical power."
From there things escalete into a biblical proportions story, in which Twilight and RD are chosen by the Gods to go into a gigantic adventure with the fate of the entire world at stake.
With an almost perfect pasing, nice OCs, an incredible back story for Equestria and one of the best flying fight scenes I've ever read; not to mention Derpy being plain bada**, this is a treat for everyone who like adventure and Ponies. Warning: There is some minor Gore, nothing ground breaking though.
You, go read it. Then go tell the author to drop the hiatus.

Remember that last week i said Pinkie Pie was in a tight spot in my book, as to say i almost hated her? Well, today's episode banished that feeling into oblivion. I seriously laughed at least two times: 1. At the lagoon, when PP brakes in mid-air for not disturbing RD with the resulting splash, 2. "Watch paint dry!" The funny yet clever nonsense has finally returned.

@ApplejackLove: I missed the races... Again... Ow, man. Well.

@DoodleJohn Hello there! I know I said above that I would be asleep, but the moment I closed my eyes, all my Apple iDevices began bleeping. I take a look, and see replies to the pony thread. So, I check, and again, more updates! Oh man... You people love to talk while I sleep. Sleep talk... Not the best move in my opinion, but it is a killer when coupled with rest. Of course, it is rendered completely useless if you use and Awakening.

Anyways, thank you for your kind words! I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that reply. I'm partially high off my fatigue, being slightly feverish and all. If this post if filled with mistakes, that because autocorrect sucks.

Hiya! Brohoof ! I was gonna be around, but been busy. I'm going to start popping in more often, though. I'm definitely inspired by the first episodes of season 3. As part of my personal Final Fantasy 25th anniversary celebration, I've been playing my favorite of the series, FF V, where you change "jobs" (Knight, Black Mage, etc.). The way my mind works, I've been imagining what everypony's job-specific outfit would look like. Now, there are canon Lancer/Dragoon outfits for Rainbow Dash (and Knight outfits, from "Hearths Warming Eve" ). Rainbow Dash's sneaking suit from the Daring Do episode is Ninja (or Thief). Starswirl the Bearded would be Twilight Sparkle's Black Mage outfit... I'm just starting. If @Everypony has ideas, please share. I need to think of some for Applejack, Rarity, and Spikey Wikey.
