Just when I finally start talking to others, just when I begin to understand people, communicate, feel something different, something that isn't painful and miserable, the magic seems to deflates for you all.
I don't care what it is you say, but I will stay. If you must leave, then I will bid you goodbye. I you turn to hate, I will simply turn away. Yet no matter what, I can't help but thanking you guys, and all these things you, and the community have taught me. Finally, I see it; the world I pegged as small, miserable, cruel, and useless, is far more than just that. Even now, I don't understand what happiness is, and I probably never will. But all of you seem to have brought me one step closer.
I apologize for always seeming so harsh. It's just that I didn't know about the world, and how to talk to people. I just wanted you all to know and see me, and never quite thought about you. I'm sorry for what I did. I'm sorry for what I am. I want to believe there is still magic left.
If you must all leave, then so shall be. But please, let me stay, and welcome the next wave of newcomers with open arms, the way you all welcomed me. Let me show them what you've shown me.
I am grateful for my time here, and I have all of you to thank for it. I still see the magic in this show, so I'll stay.
I mean, I'm not abandoning the fandom anytime soon lol I still like the show and stuff. my interest is just fading a bit. I'd like to blame it on the lack of season 3 but it's more a community/general interest thing.

First off, I never said that I was leaving. I just said that I've lost interest in the show and the fan base. Nothing more.
Secondly, I find it somewhat odd that you made this about yourself....
Oh, well.... Just calm down. It's only a television show...

@Retro_on_theGo yeah pretty much. it's become an ego trip for a lot of people (you know, all the bros who go "look at me I like MLP and I'm a dude fight me, brohoof, hot topic stuff, I'm so special")
It's entirely your prerogative if you want to leave the fandom, but hopefully you're not leaving over a few bad apple fans who would ruin it for all, inadvertently or not. Just don't be surprised that, if you stick with the show, you find yourself coming back come the new season in October.
As for the responses that this is just "a fad," it depends on your definition of what a fad is. Everything can be considered a fad if you use a very loose definition of the word. The Game Boy was a fad. PlayStation 2 was a fad. VHS tapes were a fad. Mario is a fad. I'm a fad. Throw around words without digression at your own risk.
Bad other fans, hating non-fans, or a lack of content between seasons is NOT a legitimate reason to give up on a show. Genuinely losing interest in the show, though, can't really be helped. Me? I'm still thrilled with the prospects of one of the most unexpected shows of all time, so I'll be here for you guys for the long haul!
I feel like 'brony' is becoming a bit synonymous with 'immature man-child' these days; while that's not applicable to all people who call themselves bronies, the term is just getting more and more negative. does anyone still feel like being called a brony?
I do, no matter what the likes of Howard Stern, Jerry Springer, or haters who call bronies "immature an-children" say. Because in the end, it isn't true. Yes, some take the fandom too far, but by in large, bronies represent one of the best fandoms out there. In fact, it's to the point where even the smallest fraction of the fanbase falling out of line with the creedo of love and tolerance will cause such a ripple effect like what we've seen, and that says something about the rest of the bronies in general.
I'll tell people to their face that I'm a brony and I'm one of the hardest working men you'll meet.
@MasterGraveheart I hope it's not me either. Sorry if it is.
I really want the fad bronies to move onto something else. Maybe a new film where vampires and werewolves don't get a long but one of each clan want to get married.. I think I'll write that... after premier
..I'm rich!
I don't think it's any of us NintendoLife bronies, but some of the more questionable bronies out there, including cloppers, grimdarks, and shovers. You know, the ones who give bronies a bad name.
it's hard to kind of gauge their interest (pretty much like anything suddenly popular). it's okay online on like forums and stuff but going out and seeing bronies at the mall, I can't tell if they actual care about character development in the show or they're solely relying on My Little Brony and memes and never really watched the show.

Yeah, I try to forget these certain parts of the fandom exist.
The sicko-bronies disgust me. But they're not the reason I don't like the show as much as I used to. And unlike @PlasticRevolver, I don't hate looking at pony-related things. I can still tolerate them. For now.
@MasterGraveHeart: Personality, I think Season 2 didn't have the same feel I grew to love from Season 1. It's most likely the combination of the fact that everypony writes letters to the princess, rather than it having that special personal feel when just one pony that was learning friendship from the groundup was writing these letters, the characters acting a bit more over their established personalities, and potholes. Plenty of potholes. Because apparently some of the writers forgot some things established in season 1 (Granny Smith is over 200 years old? If Fluttershy was a doormat, how did she quit being a model so easily? If Pinkie Pie has so many friends, why didn't she invite any of them to Gummi's birthday party/after-birthday party?). Personally, I like season 1 better.
@GuardianKing: Don't be silly, you're not one of them. Your goodbye-to-those-that-were-leaving speech was just a little over-the-top, but I thought it was alright. Don't worry, nopony's leaving. Nopony said they were.
I'm pretty okay.
