@CaleBoi25 That’s so funny! Yeah, the film is very funny but also so quotable. I actually found out about this through memes and edits people made specifically using a scene where Verne is chewing on bark (I fondly remember watching an edit where every time he chews it gets increasingly louder) and people quoting it. I guess the video I watched explaining why this film was surprisingly good was also what convinced me to watch it. Wish it got more recognition like DreamWorks other films, it’s so fun, zany and all the characters are so charming and distinct from one another. It definitely had potential for a sequel…

Hi Guys,
I saw NOBODY 2 today. Loved it! Was entertained from start to finish. I am not a fan of action movies, nor brutal violent ones, but NOBODY 2, and the previous one, just seem to work for me. It doesn't waste time at just 85 mins and everything fits right. Great acting, editing, music choices, camera work, and fun set pieces. I doubt they will, but would be happy if a 3rd one was made.

Hoosha...!
I have watched WICKED: FOR GOOD just now and.... It was GREAT.
Although I felt a little bit disappointed from the scenes I was waiting for to be mind blowing me, the movie was still great to watch.

Okay, SPOILER ALERT! 🚨
Here is the recap video I found from YouTube to make it quick.

SPOILER ALERT 🚨
The movie was great with more expansion backstory and additional scenes from Broadway version but I felt after No Good Deed event until For Good event was still too rushed in my opinion even the movie shown the Dorothy and her gangs arrived at Wizard of Oz place. The hooded horse rider with black outfits whom escaped from Kiamo Ko castle from the first movie was actually GLINDA in disguise to avoid Oz people recognized her. I knew it was GLINDA. The peak moment I was waiting for, the melting of Elphaba was pretty disappointing as it was still like Broadway version, didn't really show a huge fight between Wicked Witch of West vs Angry Mob & Dorothy cs. It shown Elphaba shadow melted on the wall from other room after Dorothy thrown bucket of water and Glinda saw it from the tiny space of the door she hide from the view of Oz people. And when I saw the damage on the floor from part 2 movie, compared with from the first movie, it didn't look make a sense to me because the part 1 shown a very devastated damage on the floor with some burned stone floor, a lot of water puddle, some propaganda posters on the burned floor, a few of flying monkey feathers but on the part 2, the damage on the floor and the other stuffs on the floor didn't look really same as the part 1. After Elphaba melt event, Glinda returned to Wizard place and banished him after discovered he was the father of Elphaba after Glinda gave an empty green elixir bottle. The difference in the movie was Glinda called the flying monkey guardians to arrest Madam Morrible, on Broadway version Glinda called the Oz soldiers to arrest Madam Morrible. Fiyero as Scarecrow returned to Kiamo Ko castle after the Wizard of Oz departure by riding hot air balloon and Elphaba was hiding under trap door, same as Broadway version. Fiyero as Scarecrow in movie version was like sack boy version of Scarecrow, he still looked handsome even with sack skin texture and corn flower hair. Back to Glinda after being asked about her relationship with Elphaba after No One Mourn the Wicked event, Glinda explained that animals are permitted to stay together with humans and the animals suddenly shown up at Munchkinland. Dr Dillamond also returned to Oz with his lecturer outfits. The final scene shown Elphaba and Fiyero left from Oz by walking through the desert while Glinda returned to the top of Wizard of Oz tower, the same place when Elphaba did Defying Gravity. Glinda started to sing the finale and Elphaba also started to sing like a duet. Finally it shown the Grimerrie book suddenly opened to Glinda, Elphaba & Fiyero keep walking to left from Oz, the very final scene shown the intimate moment of Elphaba & Glinda during their college day which Elphaba wearing her witch hat and Glinda with white hood whispering to Elphaba, exactly looked like WICKED Broadway version poster and THE END

I mostly fascinated with the new additional stuffs.
My reactions from the whole movie was surprised and there was one moment during the tornado event that attacking Munchkinland, Nessarose was outside and looking for Boq even though her slipper already enchanted by magic spell, the Dorothy house fallen from the sky by showing it fell right from Nessarose POV and she got crushed and died. It was EXACTLY like from my prediction, shown the very last moment of being crushed by Dorothy's house from Nessarose POV.
And I was really jump scared by that moment like OMG.
Anyway, it was still a great movie to watch despite of my little disappointment.
I rated the movie 8.5 / 10 so far.
I will watch again the movie for multiple times even I have ever watched the Broadway version on YouTube and one of my favorite version is the 2023 USA version with Alyssa Fox as Elphaba & McKenzie Kurtz as Glinda.

@WoomyNNYes
It was a great movie.

Yo!
I have watched WICKED: FOR GOOD just now for the second time.
I realized something was not present in the movie from the trailer version.

SPOILER ALERT 🚨

1. The dialogue of Madam Morrible about Wicked Witch from first trailer didn't exist in the movie.
2. There was NO Sephia color during Madam Morrible casted the spell to create cyclone.
3. There was NO pink scout Glinda with her fan club from second trailer.
4. The key note for As Long As Your Mine on trailer using higher key notes but it used same key note from Broadway version in movie version.
5. The creepy cackle of Wicked Witch from both trailer of part 1 & 2 didn't even exist in both movies.
6. During the argument of Glinda and Elphaba at wrecked Dorithyo house, Elphaba said "You can't changed it." to Glinda, exactly from Broadway version. But the second trailer version, Elphaba said "You have no real power". to Glinda.
5. The scene of Elphaba flying with her broom and followed by the flying monkeys from first and second trailer (the last part of the trailer) of part 2 didn't even exist in movie version.
6. I found from YouTube shorts the blooper of the scene of Madam Morrible yelled to Glinda to shut her mouth with very evil tone and made Ariana Grande's eye contact popped out didn't used in movie version. Instead, Madam Morrible said shut up with lesser scary tone to Glinda in movie version.

Well, those the stuffs I found didn't exist in movie version.

I HAVE BEEN CHANGED.... FOR GOOD. 💚💗

I keep forgetting that Zootopia 2 comes out this week. I stupidly thought it was last week
———————————————————

Anyway, The first Avengers movie holds up really well. Unfortunately Age of Ultron is really difficult to follow, though I do like that Hawkeye gets a lot more love in it

Dog Man!

I am far above the target audience age but I enjoy the books. This was fine. Passable. Not bad, but not special. The books have a surprising amount of emotional depth and heart on top of the silly humour, but this was a little lacking. It perfectly safely merges and adapts the first 4 books, without really changing or adding much, just word for word at times. A lot feels underdeveloped and rushed because of it. Far too many sub plots they could have done without. Taking away the credits, it is just 77 mins.

It is not laugh out loud either, not for adults at leasts. Very young kids may fair a little better.

Animation is beautiful and you would think you are watching stop motion claymation times! I find a lot of CGI animation, such as modern day Pixar, souless and hard to engage with, but they do fantastic work here. It is like Spider-Verse or Puss In Boots 2, using comic frames and visible sound effects. It makes it all far more watchable.

Not so much a good boy, but more a 'that'll do, Dog.'

A far better comic series.

Watched Aliens last night, a movie I've seen many times, whilst playing Doom 3.

I still think the original Alien is the better film, but Aliens is about as perfect a sequel as you could ask for. The scene towards the end when Ripley heads back into the complex to save Newt from the Queen Alien still freaks me out. They really convey the sense she's heading back into the depths of hell to save this kid.

@Nep-Nep-Freak fun! I'll probably give it a watch once my library gets a DVD copy

Watched the Chirstopher Reeve Superman with my fam. Well, actually, they watched it while I was at work, and I got to see the middle climax and the end. Even so, it was surprisingly good. The ending was a very sudden "hooray the good guys win OK the end" but right up until then I was actually surprised by how much they were letting people get hurt!
