Yo!
I have watched WICKED: FOR GOOD just now for the second time.
I realized something was not present in the movie from the trailer version.

SPOILER ALERT 🚨

1. The dialogue of Madam Morrible about Wicked Witch from first trailer didn't exist in the movie.
2. There was NO Sephia color during Madam Morrible casted the spell to create cyclone.
3. There was NO pink scout Glinda with her fan club from second trailer.
4. The key note for As Long As Your Mine on trailer using higher key notes but it used same key note from Broadway version in movie version.
5. The creepy cackle of Wicked Witch from both trailer of part 1 & 2 didn't even exist in both movies.
6. During the argument of Glinda and Elphaba at wrecked Dorithyo house, Elphaba said "You can't changed it." to Glinda, exactly from Broadway version. But the second trailer version, Elphaba said "You have no real power". to Glinda.
5. The scene of Elphaba flying with her broom and followed by the flying monkeys from first and second trailer (the last part of the trailer) of part 2 didn't even exist in movie version.
6. I found from YouTube shorts the blooper of the scene of Madam Morrible yelled to Glinda to shut her mouth with very evil tone and made Ariana Grande's eye contact popped out didn't used in movie version. Instead, Madam Morrible said shut up with lesser scary tone to Glinda in movie version.

Well, those the stuffs I found didn't exist in movie version.

I keep forgetting that Zootopia 2 comes out this week. I stupidly thought it was last week
———————————————————

Anyway, The first Avengers movie holds up really well. Unfortunately Age of Ultron is really difficult to follow, though I do like that Hawkeye gets a lot more love in it

@Megas75 oh, yes, The Avengers is such a good one! AoU is also good, though, yeah, it's a bit more... Deep? That's not the right word, but whatever. I doubt I'll go see 2ootopia (Zoo2pia?) but once it releases on DVD I'll give it a watch.

Dog Man!

I am far above the target audience age but I enjoy the books. This was fine. Passable. Not bad, but not special. The books have a surprising amount of emotional depth and heart on top of the silly humour, but this was a little lacking. It perfectly safely merges and adapts the first 4 books, without really changing or adding much, just word for word at times. A lot feels underdeveloped and rushed because of it. Far too many sub plots they could have done without. Taking away the credits, it is just 77 mins.

It is not laugh out loud either, not for adults at leasts. Very young kids may fair a little better.

Animation is beautiful and you would think you are watching stop motion claymation times! I find a lot of CGI animation, such as modern day Pixar, souless and hard to engage with, but they do fantastic work here. It is like Spider-Verse or Puss In Boots 2, using comic frames and visible sound effects. It makes it all far more watchable.

Not so much a good boy, but more a 'that'll do, Dog.'

A far better comic series.

Watched Aliens last night, a movie I've seen many times, whilst playing Doom 3.

I still think the original Alien is the better film, but Aliens is about as perfect a sequel as you could ask for. The scene towards the end when Ripley heads back into the complex to save Newt from the Queen Alien still freaks me out. They really convey the sense she's heading back into the depths of hell to save this kid.

@Nep-Nep-Freak fun! I'll probably give it a watch once my library gets a DVD copy

Watched the Chirstopher Reeve Superman with my fam. Well, actually, they watched it while I was at work, and I got to see the middle climax and the end. Even so, it was surprisingly good. The ending was a very sudden "hooray the good guys win OK the end" but right up until then I was actually surprised by how much they were letting people get hurt!

Disney movies during this year 2025 are terrible in my opinion.
Snow White 2025 was abysmal. (3/10)
Lilo & Stitch live action was disappointing. (5/10)
ELIO was awful. (5/10)
Zootopia 2 looked terrible from the music choice and I really hate with the collaboration of popular stuffs in that movie which just only a repulsion for me. (0/10)
Disney now is not the same like old Disney.
I wonder if another Disney movie in year 2026 will be better or even more disappointing.
I'm not sure Toy Story 5 will be better than Toy Story 4.
I don't think Moana live action will looks better than the animated version.

But in contrary, WICKED FOR GOOD is the only my Movie of the Year 2025. (9/10)
I have watched for 5 times at Cinema XXI, will keep watching as many as can during December 2025.
Let's see if I can break the record by watching for more than 10 times.

@anti-matter
I agree, the "main" Disney output this year wasn't great. Like you said, Snow White wasn't very good (that's putting it lightly), and Elio was just OK. However, Zootopia 2 looks to be pretty good (even if it's not your jam), and while I haven't seen the original Lilo & Stitch or the LA remake, they both look great — I'll get to them eventually! Luckily, Disney owns a lot of companies — including Marvel! This year, Marvel released Fantastic 4: First Steps, which was a really fun movie, as well as Thunderbolts* (my personal favorite movie this year!), and Marvel Zombies, which was super fun! So, they're not totally ruined! I will probably watch Wicked: For Good soon, but I'm in no rush — I have seen the second act online, and watched reviews of the film itself, and I'm not excited enough that I'm willing to go to the theater for it.

(Oops... This was longer than I meant for it to be... I guess that's what happens when I talk about something I like — movies, books, games...)

WICKED FOR GOOD have some MAJOR changes compared with Broadway version.
The major changes looked better and more make a sense.
Oh, btw.
WICKED Broadway Brazil version year 2023 from YouTube was hilarious.
You can watch the whole performance from YouTube.

Last year's Wicked was one of my 3 favourite movies of the year.

For Good I wouldn't even recommend.

After getting home from the show I did some googling (what the heck went wrong??), and found the first act of the Broadway show is famously much better than the second.

I preferred Wicked Part 1 as well, although most of the people I watched For Good with seemed to love it. Not sure why, I just wasn't as invested in it. Maybe if I'd rewatched the first one so it was fresher in my memory it would have been better.
