id have to say the most ridiculous video game name ever is: 3D Speed Reading Right Brain Training with Both Eyes - on 3ds. yes, that is the real title and its coming out in japan on August 25th.

Most Dsiware games have pretty ridiculous names. Divergent shift, Kokopolo, Zoonies escape from Makatu Etc.

it is a great series but come on...13 of them and counting...plus the off-shoots...where's the finality in that? Totally ridiculous
The reason behind the name Final Fantasy was
Squaresoft was on the verge of bankruptcy when Nintendo asked them to make one more game for them. Square decided to give it a go with a Fantasy type game and if didnt go over well it would have been Squares final game or in this case Squares Final Fantasy. Instead it ended up saving Square and turning it into one of the biggest game companies around.

Besides, how could Square be expected to know that it would go on to become one of the longest running series of all time back in 1987?
Capcom didn't know Final Fight was going to spawn a bunch of sequels when they named it in 1989.
