Thanks for that link Mickeymac. The show isn't bad, it reminds me of Voltron.

I don't understand that statement one bit, but okay. How many episodes in did you get? Not that it matters I'm just asking.

I've only watched the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam and I'm very impressed. I like the art style and I appreciate that the art style is simple and has a bit more kawaii then most mech anime have in this current lame duck generation. I hate the art style of anime and manga like Death Note, Durarara, Slam Dunk, Mushi-shi, X, The Prince of Tennis, xxxHolic and Iron Man Extremis.

I like the kawaii influenced happy go lucky/ "I'm gonna slam your can" type of anime like Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Samurai Jack, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, Princess Tutu, MAR, Best Student Council and of course Speed Racer and Astro Boy.

Anyway, I really like Gundam and I look forward to watching more of it.

BTW all while you guys were saying how you were so impressed with Star Wars The Clone Wars none of you told me that Darth Maul was in it. Heck, I thought you guys just ment it was hip and cool. DARN! The last episode was ravishingly SWEET! Darth Maul and Qui Gonn Jinn. Oh my! What's next?

Guys I skipped Star Wars to spend my time taking care of our dog and playing Maple Story when I could have been watching the secrets of the best Sith ever.

It only gets better. Though I should mention that Gundam is not happy go lucky, as should already be evident by Frowbo losing her parents in the first episode. It's still not depressing, and has a happy ending most of the time, but still people die a lot, mainly the "bad guys" whom are still painted as ordinary people and I'd hope you'll feel for them when they die.

Also, I personally don't like the artstyle of most modern shows, anime or western. I prefer stuff from the 70's, 80's, and '90, including most Gundam shows (save for Turn A Gundam).

As for The Clone Wars, I haven't been keeping up with the most recent episodes, sorry.

Thanks Mickeymac. BTW when I say "happy go lucky" I mean in the artist style and the tone. Naruto, Samurai Jack, One Piece and Star Wars The Clone Wars are "happy go lucky" coupled with dark and dingy jarring events. I know that there will be clashes against light and darkness and loss of life but I'm just saying that I like a "kawaii" influenced art style and comic relife to wash it all down (i.e. Tony Tony Chopper, Hinata or C3P0).

I see. Sorry, I just think of cutesy shows as being Kawaii, so I misunderstood what you're talking about. Otherwise you're right on the money.

You're cool Mickeymac, I'm just thankful you introduced me to Mobile Suit Gundam. I'm so very happy to see such good clean shows available online for free amid all the misery of bad programming airing on television, tis a blessing to see something different for a change.

Haven't seen that show in a long time. I remember getting up early to watch it when I was a kid because they only played it at 6:30 or something. Good times, good times.

I love Zoids. I haven't watched it since the days of Toonami, but I do remember quite a bit of it, and I remember how fun it was to watch. I loved the competitive nature to it, the plot wasn't as stupidly serious as Chaotic Century was. Really changed things up for the better. I Should rewatch it someday, depending on its length. I don't think it was that long.

I'm happy it's had such an effect on you. I know I had a similar reaction when I rewatched it over the summer. Hopefully you'll like it enough to watch it through to the end. You haven't gotten to the best parts yet.

I should warn you that about halfway through they experienced some budget cuts, so while I don't think the animation was affacted, it did change the story and caused them to reuse scenes at times (though, I think that's common in any show).

As for Clone Wars, I'm glad to know there's still some decent programming on television. I'd all but given up hope, you know?

Don't worry my friend, the budget cuts won't bother me. I occasionally watch both the classic Glen A Larson programs "The A-Team" and "Battlestar Galactic" both of which reuse footage over and over again but in a clever way which most people hardly notice. So that won't bother me none. Today, I plan to show Battle Suit Gundam to my sister to see if she likes it. She seemed to like Sym-Bionic Titans although she took a fast disdain to Voltron and so she might like this to.

I hope She likes it, too. I'd make some predictions, but I have a pretty stereotypical idea of women, so my insight would be utterly useless. Lets just hope for the best.

I also assert that Sym-Biotics isn't as much like Voltron as you think it is. Outside of the combining robots (which is quite common in Japanese animations), I don't really see the resemblence. Though I know I've mystaken shows for Voltron-likes before...most of them I regretted ever watching in the first place.

LOL. I like you Mickeymac. BTW my sister likes it. But I'll let her give u her opinion on the show.

Anyway, I'm loving the show we're on episode 3 on our to episode 4. I seriously like Shaw: The Red Comet, he is like someone out of Shakespeare's Hamlet. I don't really think he's as bad as he looks. Seem to me that he is good on the inside but then again that's I felt about Sasuke Uchiha who turned out to be not so black and white but the Naruto: Shippuden arrived on the PSN and iTunes.

BTW I'm happy to see that original and not these new Gundam's is coming to the Nintendo 3DS!

BTW Mickeymac have you watched Star Wars The Clone Wars S3 Episode "Witches of the Mist" over on http://www.starwars.com yet?

That's good to hear. Also, I think Hamlet was where Tomino was going with Char, so you're pretty good at understanding this stuff.

As for the Gundam games, that one looks pretty good, though I doubt it'll be released in the U.S. They tend to keep the good Gundam games over in Japan.

Also, yeah, I did watch "Witches of the Mist". I thought it was a pretty good episode, and I'm excited to see the next one. Plus, I think I get the gist of the story now.

So Tomino was on to Hamlet? That's so incredible! If ever I did digg the show tis now! We intend to watch at lest 10 episodes of Gundam today.

BTW I was thinking that Gundam The 3D Battle might not making it to the USA but with things going the way they went at last years E3 with out the bells and whistles getting brought out we might be blessed with another great E3 this year. The Nintendo 3DS is going to be a real game changer and I can see Gundam getting a showing at E3. It's such a good franchise. I really like it now.

I'm sure it'll be there if it's not out in Japan by then. It would be very awesome if it did get released in the U.S., though as a 360 owner I'm more looking forward to a U.S. release date of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3. Still, both of them look awesome.

Gundam is a very good tv series. I'm enjoying the series immensely and I'm also looking forward to buying the game for 3DS. The only thing that's interesting is the characters names, but the show is awesome .
