Topic: Looking for good freeware games

My brother and I are working on a website that reviews and links to the best of the best freeware games on the net. I'm running out of ideas myself and can use some suggestions. It doesn't really matter if its a download, flash, browser, or even a kids game. Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks!

Cave Story!

My personal vote is for Synaesthete. Think of it as 3-button Guitar Hero mixed with the graphics of Rez. It can be a bit difficult to take all of it in, but it's an experience that's worth.

Lemming Ball Z

Osu!, it's essentially a freeware customizable Osu! Takatae! Ouendan / Elite Beat Agents clone for PC.

Playing Cave Story with mah Wiimote on mah Computer definitely gives the game an uber retro feel. Never got the Wii version. Only have the DSi and recently downloaded the PC/Mac version.

lots of suggestions, thanks guys. Already played cave story and its already featured on the website. Osu is on the site as well (best rhythm game ever!). Synaesthete, lemming ball z, and mario builder sound interesting. I'll check those out.

I can't seem to get La Mulana working in english though :/

@HolyMackerel: Looks pretty fun. What do you mean by limited continues? You die enough and you can't play the game anymore? Or do you just have to start over?

You just have to start over. Like an old Mario or Sonic game. No biggie.
