Welcome to Life Sim & Sandbox Games Thread.
Here you can share your experience and discuss about your favorite Life Sim games / Sandbox games and the upcoming Life Sim / Sandbox games you want to play.
Some of Life Sim / Sandbox games I like to play.
The Sims 4
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Portal Knights
Dragon Quest Builders 2
You can also share the screenshots of your best creation from Life Sim / Sandbox games you played on here.
You are tasked with a Church and a yard to bury the dead and even farm the meat and sell it to unsuspecting neighboring town! It has some awesome dark humor!
I look at it as a darker Stardew Valley!
The only downside is that is does not have any physical editions
My favorite sandbox game.will always be Fallout 4. Just something about exploring the wasteland. I don't even necessary do the quests either. I know my roommate has turned Fallout 4 into basically a apocalypse building sim since all she does is build town and go exploring from there. With as much time as she puts into it you'd think she has beat tbe game, but no she's just content on building stuff and exploring.

Shoutout to Metal Gear Solid V! The amount of tools and utilities at your disposal is incredibly impressive. I also think this game has some of the greatest level designs in any sandbox I've played. It almost always manages to be very open-ended, while still requiring lots of strategy. Will you go in guns blazing, or will you take a tactical approach?
@Tasuki That is so true! Fallout 4 is a sandbox game! And I do not get the quests either. I love exploring the wasteland and stumble on the small "stories" left by the devs
@Zuljaras I will admit that I can't do the quest line in Fallout 4, I don't know if it's my OCD or what but I see something and go oh what is that over there. Or hey what's up with that abandoned gas station etc. I will admit too that I am that way with Skyrim which is why I never beat that either lol.

@Zuljaras Yeah I was talking to a friend of mine a few weeks ago and he's never played Fallout 4 before (or any Fallout for that matter) but he loves Skyrim. I pretty much told him Fallout 4 is just Skyrim in an apocalyptic setting. When he heard that his eyes grew wide and he said that he will have to try it lol.

@Tasuki I haven't played any other MGS games, so I don't have much of an informed idea of why some people dislike this one. However, from what I've heard, it's mainly due to it being somewhat incomplete. The story supposedly just kind of ends at some point and doesn't resolve lots of plot points. In fact, some story cutscenes and elements have even been datamined from the game that just never made it in, probably due to restrictions from Konami.
But I don't really mind that fact as I still find the gameplay to be super fun and engaging. I'll hopefully try out Snake Eater at some point though as that one seems to be a fan favorite, and maybe see what Phantom Pain deviated too much from.

There was already new Imagine Babyz game on Switch, but by different game developer and publisher with name My Universe : My Baby New Edition by Microids as publisher.
I know Anti doesn't like those games, but aren't Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom sandbox games in some way? Since you're essentially able to go anywhere and do whatever you want. Those are the ones I've gotten into the most. And assuming my memory serves me well, Nintendo classified Super Mario Odyssey as a sandbox game, but I've always considered it a 3D platformer. Loved that game, too.
As for life sims, the only one I really got into is the Animal Crossing series. I started out with New Leaf and I loved that, as well as New Horizons. I wanna play more of Disney Dreamlight Valley sometime, as well.
