For the record, the phrase "Great Scott!" did not originate from Back to the Future. The original source of the expression is unknown, but it dates back to at least the 1800s.
But yes, most people nowadays know it from Back to the Future, and often it will be used as a reference to the films. Before the films, the expression had kind of fallen out of common usage in the U.S., but as BttF was set primarily in the 1950s, it fit as an expression that someone like Doc Brown might use.

Usually these paths all lead you to the same spot (the end of the level) but the paths themselves are unique and some have rewards for taking them.
