Topic: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

What do you guys think of this show? I just recently discovered it and I must say that it's my favorite comedy show as of right now. My favorite episodes I've seen thus far are Mac is a Serial Killer, The Gang Goes Jihad, and Frank Sets Sweet Dee On Fire. What about you?

I thought you were trying to convince us that there's a -state- (town? county? I'm not familiar with most of America.) that maintains a perfect climate.

Never heard of this show, anyhow.

Pretty sure Philadelphia isn't a state.

I love it, but Modern Family is my favourite comedy currently airing. Until Arrested Development starts back up in 2013 (yay!)

Anyway, IASIP is like South Park but in real life, and often funnier. Charlie is easily my favourite character, his illiteracy and general filthyness is hilarious, the guy obviously lives in his own world. Though lately Dennis has been on a roll, and Dee/Mac add their own touch. Frank generally doesn't make me laugh. The side characters and zaniness are also great.

It's a fantastic show. It perfectly captures the "douche-bag" mentality of America. Every character in this show is a terrible, self-absorbed person, and every episode shows them going to great lengths to unintentionally destroy themselves. By the way, anyone who's a fan of the show should listen to this interview. The actual interview doesn't start until 10 or so minutes in, but its worth it.

I really like the show. This season has been great, too. My favorite episode of this season is "The Anti-Social Network", since they talk about things that are wrong with the internet (such as sending nude photos of yourself to other people and that people aren't always who they say that they are online.) and how "shushing" is extremely rude. It's also great to see how committed they are to the show. Rob McElhenney, the guy that plays Mac, gained a large amount of weight this season, pulling a reverse Christian Bale

Overall great series, I highly recommend watching it.

I love this show. It's really funny and all the characters are great. The actors do an amazing job and I swear it doesn't even feel like a show sometimes. I love that episode where they make Lethal Weapon 5. I lost it. Laughed so hard during that entire episode. Charlie's my favorite character.

I think the show is very hilarious sometimes! However, after watching a number of episodes, I can kind of predict where a joke is going to go sometimes, which makes things less funny for me at least. Still, really great show!

it's always sunny is amazing. my favorite comedy currently on tv. i think my favorite episode would have to be the christmas special, which I would argue is the most insane christmas special ever made-even beating out tim and eric's chrimbus special in terms of pure insanity.

@tealovertoma - Haha, yeah. I love the sections of the show when the gang is trying to decode Charlie's writings (especially on The Gang Runs for Office). Charlie is just crazy hilarious and some of the things he does are just incredibly funny. I also personally really like Frank too because whenever he gets involved someone gets hurt somehow and I just find that funny in its own merit. :3

I haven't watched any of Season 7 yet, but I think it's awesome that Rob put on weight just for the role of Mac. I'll definitely buy the season once it comes out in a box set (although I still have to buy Season 4-6 before I get it anyway).

I just recently started watching, and I think it's hilarious! My favorite episode is The Nightman Cometh, who new Charlie was so talented. I also love the fact that it's on every night.

FX has a lot of great comedy shows (and other genres as well) now. It's Always Sunny, Louie, Archer, etc. Much better than the usual laugh-track infested, overplayed stereotype, formulaic junk you usually get with some of the major cable channels... cough CBS, ABC cough.
