Topic: Instruments

I was just wondering if any of you play instruments. If you do post what instrument you play and why you play it.

Instrument: French Horn (FRENCH HORNS, UNITE!)
I play because: For middle school band, IT FUN!

Clarinet for 12+ years. Why? Because I can

cuz i love them. so much more fun than guitar

favorite song...if i had to name one it'd be fade to black...but i never have just 1 favorite song

I play the piano, the bass steel drums (though I'm out of practice now), and the recorder (everybody plays the recorder though. )

Yeah, guitar and bass seem to be the instruments-to-own for adolescents everywhere it seems. I never got into it, although I wouldn't mind starting. All that $$$$ though...

@GuardianAcorn not got an actual bass distortian pedal, but I've got a guitar one, although it's not been used in a while, tend to rely on my amp's own one instead. Distorted bass does sound great

get a strat or gio from a pawn shop for like $100. stay away from first act and squire though!

I play the piano and violin. I started the piano when I was ten and the violin I started for school in sixth grade, when I was twelve. I'm sixteen now and still going strong with both of them. I'm still in the school orchestra, and it's still quite enjoyable.

my friend played his sister's bass through distortion once and it was the coolest thing ever. what kinda guitars do you have?

@GuardianAcorn nope, considering my only guitar with a humbucker is in the shape of a flower I'd be fairly stumped for playing metal if I was mainly into "alternative" rock which a Tele is fairly well suited for although I'm wanting a Jaguar HH whenever I have money for one

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say you're really into music. Practically every other post is you, lol. Also, I don't even know what a strat or gio is (iFail). I don't know much about guitars; I'm going to have to Google it.
