Never had any issues with any of that, so I dunno. :c

Anyone else been having problems with restarts? Every time I restart in Windows 10 it takes literally 15 minutes to boot up.

I updated as soon as I could. I'm yet to have any issues at all with Windows 10. I was on 8.1 before but even so, my PC if anything has been more responsive and more stable.

Same deal with the machines I upgraded from 7

There's a free utility out there called Never10.

You can also delete the update that puts this on the computer and tell windows to ignore that specific update. Made this problem go away for me.

Either way.

One thing I noticed about 10 is that when I turn on the machine, or after I restart it, it goes straight to loading windows 10 and skips the first part of the start-up where you can access the BIOS.

To see that I need to forcefully turn off the machine by pressing the power button for some seconds.

Bloop.

I'm using Windows 10 and it's very, very stable. I still don't like the design THAT much but it's okay I guess. There are quite a few bugs for me though.
One thing for example is that sometimes my maximized windows don't go all the way up to the top of the screen but have a small space between. It's really strange.

I've had one of those Windows 10 horror stories. I'm fairly sure my performance has dropped (low-midrange laptop from 2013), but not significantly. However, I have various issues with sound (going from silence to sound boosts the volume of the sound until I adjust the volume, at which point the sound returns to regular volume and my sound just completely cutting out for long durations), the Start Menu doesn't always work (and sometimes the taskbar stops functioning as well), Modern Apps never work, and there are times that I have to delete my internet connectivity drivers and restart my computer just so said drivers will work properly. I've looked into the solutions to these problems (it all seems connected) and combined them into extensive computer purging attempts, but the issues usually resolve themselves in some crazy manner only to come back after a few months. I'm hoping that major update will resolve most of it.

...I think I always get lucky when it comes to something like this...same could be said about launch systems. My Wii and Wii U were launch consoles and I had no issues at all. xp
