Getting blocked in the comments. - General Discussion Forum

I've noticed that some of my most recognizable long-time commenters have apparently blocked me. I use the comments section alot on this site, and almost never the forums. I know I can be confrontational at times, but I try to always keep it civil and within constructive conversation. One in particular, I know why, but a couple others, I'm a little surprised! I have to admit, it kind of hurts. but this isnt (just) about me. I have a couple questions for y'all: do you guys get blocked? Do you care? Can people who've blocked you in the comments see you in the forums, or is it site wide? I find it fascinating partly because I've ignored people that I think are trolling, abusive, etc, but I've never ever outright blocked anyone. And, I generally go back and end up un-ignoring people anyway. I know I'm being overly sensitive to let it get to me, but its weird feeling like I'm just blocked by these folks, and that's that. I see people replying to them still, and I guess its the same for them, but otherwise we are ghosts. anyway, i thought it might be something to talk about. I hope its not against the rules to bring up, or a tired topic for y'all by now. I hope you all know that I love this community. It's the only online interaction I still participate in, for real. ❤️
