Gamespot. They can be a bit strict and they do throw the odd curve ball and crap review, but generally they are a sound revw. I acknowledge the above IGN as they understand and acknowledge the Wii far moreso. I prefer N-Gamer and ONM to both though but I do read Gamespot reviews
Nintendo Life are no.1 of course when it comes to reviewing,
I haven't visited Gamespot since Jeff Gerstmann was fired due to giving a heavily advertised game only a fair rating and being fired for it. If I remember correctly a bunch of other long-time staff members left about that time due to it. But they formed GiantBomb, so all worked out in the end.
As Corbs said. Since Jeff Gerstmann got fired I refuse to visit GameSpot. If journalistic and critical freedoms are being excessively curbed to please sponsors, I am gone. I like the contents and look of IGN better anyway.
Gamespot's review of Samurai Warriors 3 went on and on about its historical background.... That is, Chinese medieval history.
Even if the journalist is so stupid to get that wrong, the subeditor should have picked that up before it even went live. But it took DAYS and hundreds of comments before it was changed.
And then that Chinese history background was copy pasted from Wikipedia.
So I can't respect Gamespot. On the other hand IGN has hired some truly amateur writers itself.
So I abstain from comment. The best games journalists and publications are still print - Edge, Game Informer and Famitsu.

So that's why Gamespot blows now..... Thanks for the heads-up! I used to be there every day, then he was gone.
GameSpot is a lot better. Neither is the most credible, but as a site I enjoy GameSpot a million times more.
And GameSpot, unlike IGN and NintendoLife, actually has a great forum system. PMs, unions, great thread tracking, everything. IGN's forums are just ugly and these forums are stuck in the prehistoric era.
I can barely stand some of these websites. Dtoid is nice, but I'll stick to the Nintendo only websites and mags thank you:) But i do like pc gamer.
