@NintendoByNature Hopefully you enjoy it, the story is alright and the battle system is pretty engaging for all its simplicity.

@Tyranexx I definitely agree on getting the Switch trilogy. I would buy it in a heartbeat

Ughh I REALLY wana play the trilogy as I have it on wii u, but I just can't sit down for long periods of time with the wii mote and nunchucks

You do seem to have quite a backlog, @Tyranexx .... I'm sure most of us have a similar 'problem', though

120%ed Spyro the Dragon recently. The PC remake that's part of the Reignited Trilogy, that is. Really brilliant update that preserves the feel of the original while modernizing the controls and presentation.

It's more simplistic than some of the sequels, but that's the main reason it's my favorite. It's a game I can comfortably beat in a single evening, and each level is pretty reasonably paced.

Also beat Intelligent Qube on the PS1 for the first time without any deaths. Once you figure out how to get past that level 7 hump, you become a much better player.

@StarPoint I don't buy games day 1 too often - I prefer to wait for discounts and not grab too many new games at once - unless it's a franchise I'm really into or a game I'm extremely excited about. Metroid Prime Trilogy definitely fits the bill.

@BruceCM It's not as bad as many; I've read some have hundreds, if not thousands...mostly thanks to digital store fronts like Steam and GOG. The problem is I like JRPGs too much. At least I dumped MMOs some time ago.

I beat legends arceus tonight. Rock solid game.

Back to XC2, then, @NintendoByNature .... ? I don't keep track of my 'backlog', @Tyranexx! I do own over 2700 games on Steam, though & obviously haven't played half of those at least

recently beat the first ori, the blind forest. IMMENSELY frustrating precision platformer more than it was metroidvania. finished it and deleted it. Will of the Wisp was far better

@BruceCM yep! Back to it. And some smaller games in the mix. Started heaven dust last night. Only about an hour or so in.

That's probably 1/4 of the way through the whole game, @NintendoByNature .... I finished it in about 3.5 hours

@BruceCM nice! I'm focusing on some smaller games with xc2. Nerd to clear out that backlog.

Done with Danganronpa 2 now and so far it is really hard to rate one over the other. Now just one more left and i can't wait

To be fair, I did reorganize my backlog list recently to sort by priority and then platform (I previously just went by the latter), so my true "backlog" is shorter than before. I'm also trying to be less of a completionist.

Yeah, for XC2, you'd spend a LONG time getting 100&, @Tyranexx .... Priority sounds like it could be quite complicated to work out, though!

@BruceCM where did you find the feather mask in heaven dust? I have 5 other masks but don't have the one required for the puzzle.

Hmm, I'm not sure exactly where I got each mask, @NintendoByNature .... In the room that had 3, though, it should warn you 2 of them are fake & tell you how to know which is the real one! Since only 4 are needed & you're missing 1, you must have the fakes as well I'll have a look to see if I can find where the feather 1 is specifically
