This clickbait is weak

Should've been "all gamers are virgins who've never felt the touch of a woman"

This is slightly different, but I bought Final Fantasy Explorers for 3DS on day one, absolutely loved it. Later on, it ended up in a stack of trade-ins that I took to GameStop. I used to just grab a stack and trade them in for whatever new game I wanted.

Over a year later, probably closer to 2 years, I wanted to play it again and really regretted getting rid of it because I had a high level Sage and just overall had a great time with the game. I went back to that same GameStop and purchased a pre-owned copy of the game, complete in box.

I get home and put the game in the New 2DS XL that I had recently bought, and what do I see? My old Sage! Right there with my name. That game stayed there for all that time, no one bought it, no one erased the file, and somehow out of all the copies there, I ended up with the exact one that I used to have. Reunited at last.

Currently Playing:

3DS - Rune Factory 4
Switch - Farm Together

I lost my Mario kart 8 limited edition for Wii U when I moved house (the one that came with the blue shell). It was the only gaming casualty of the move.

they say that life’s a carousel, spinning fast you’ve got to ride it well. The world is full of kings and queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams. It’s heaven and hell.

I was the little brother who picked up my brother's version of POKEMON BLUE and started a new game to trade starter mon's with a friend of mine. I was 6, he was 10. Safe to say that I hid in the bathroom that same evening with the door locked.

This makes him a Loser, right?

So did you accidentally override his save?

Because my brother's friend somehow did that twice. Once with my copy of Yellow, and again with his copy of Gold.

I can't recall anything specifically (fortunately) though my mum encouraged me to throw out some of my game boxes (which I regret agreeing to, though many of them were disproportionate large, as was the standard for PC games in the 90s).

In respect to my console games (i.e. GBA, DS, 3DS, Switch, Wii, Wii U), I have kept all of the boxes, though I have been tempted to throw out the oversized amiibo bundle boxes.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

Oh right that's true!

Nintendo trying to avoid those 1998 starter Pokemon scalpers. Like imagine all the people who would be asking for hundreds of dollars just to trade you a Bulbasaur.

@kkslider5552000 and Eel, that is exactly what happened. I didn't understand much English at that age, so I just annoyingly mashed the A-button without any second thought. That was indeed the day I learned that Pokémon-games only carry one save-file, lol.
