i've now skimmed the whole thread and, wow, what a fine selection of tracks. but still, there are a lot of classics (in my book at least) missing.

@SlyRax That song is awesome, and I've never played the game. Why doesn't Nintendo publish those kinds of games anymore? Surely it's not because they don't have Rare anymore. They can still keep their casual market and release games like that.
Now, for some feel-good Korean indie pop rock. This song has a very The Sundays vibe to it. It's actually used in a game too!
some of what would have been Brawl's best music (among already GREAT tracks) are unfortunately the ones they chose not to use... check out some of the other Brawl "Lost Music..." it's good stuff.

If Rare somehow decided to release a Killer Instinct Anthology that would be an immediate system seller to me. I don't get it either that such franchises are no longer continued.

Oh my goodness, I just realised how amazing the Super Meat Boy soundtrack is. It has so much catchy retro appeal. Really. The dark world themes are like Sonic CD's "bad future" remixes. Fantastic. I suggest you check out these songs from the first world, stat!
