So I just watched Poltergeist for the first time yesterday and I thought it was a really good movie. I had no idea that Speilberg was involved in the making of that movie until later and it got me thinking about how many Classics he's been a part of. I'm kind of curious to hear what movies of his you like the best. It's really hard for me to choose a favorite but I think I would go with saving private ryan. I also really enjoyed close encounters of the third kind. That story was so original and kept my attention the entire time.

They're all worth watching imo but the first one is probably the best

Wait, Spielburg directed Back to the Future? I thought that was Robert Zemeckis's doing. In that case, mark me up for that one, too!

NM Spielberg was only the producer for the back to the future series. It was indeed directed by Robert Zemeckis. My bad.

Schindlers List and Empire of the Sun. Honourable mentions for A.I, War of the Worlds and Saving Private Ryan, amongst others.

By process of elimination, I'd have to say that my favorite Spielberg movie is one I didn't watch.

My favourite was Jurassic park

Hmm. I don't have a single favorite..I think that my 5 favorites from him without no order are: Jurassic Park, E.T., Jaws, Empire of the sun and Munich

Speilberg is pretty over-rated in my honest opinion. Stanley Kubrick wipes the floor with him.
