I'd say Kingdom Hearts 2. Destroy All Humans was fun too

That game was fun but I had it on the Gamecube.

Shadow of the Colossus, easily!! It's the reason I bought a PS2. I have spent so much time replaying that game.

I also really like ICO and Maximo:Ghosts to Glory. Overall, I'm not a big fan of PS2, but that's because I don't play RPGs or Mature games, so that precludes a lot of the most popular games on the system.

Sadly like every Ps2 game I played (except the vastly overrated Final Fantasy X), I only got to play it for a grand total of an hour or so. At some point in the next couple of years I just need to get a PS2 or 3 and just get as many of the games I've always wanted to own as possible.

When you take away the Dreamcast and GameCube ports, there's not much good left to choose from. PS2 had a lot of other big third party games too, but they were all substantially better on the Xbox (I guess some things never change). Picking the best PS2 game is a simple task. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. It was bigger than any previous Metal Gear Solid, it was funny and entertaining, and it was exclusive to PS2 (at the time anyway).

oh yeah didn't Monster Hunter like start on Ps2? That's kinda a decently big deal at the very least.

Yeah, Japan had MH1, MHG (which was ported to Wii), and MH2 (which is supposed to be the best, I wouldn't know as the PS2 is region locked)

We just got MH1, and the sales sucked so bad that they decided not to release any more for a while :/

yeah I didn't realize until a bit before Tri's release how many people cared about Monster Hunter in Japan or otherwise
